Cómo hacer una cartera tipo sobre - How to make a handbag Envelope style

Hace unos meses aprovechando la cuarentena me puse a elaborar unas carteras de mano tipo carta donde pueda llevar cosas esenciales para salir al centro. Me faltó una por terminar y hoy me gustaría enseñarte a confeccionarla.

A few months ago taking advantage of this lockdown I started to make some handbags style where I can arrive some essential thing for going to the downtown. There was a handbag to be made. And today I'm going to teach you how to make it.

Qué vamos a necesitar:

What are we going to need?

• Hilo

Sewing thread

• Aguja

A needle

• Un retazo de tela estampada.

A piece of patterned fabric.

• Un retazo de tela POP (u cualquiera e sirva para colocar de fondo)

A piece of POP fabric (or any kind of fabric to put as background.

• Un pedazo de cartón fino.

A piece of fine cardboard.

• Tijera.

Scissor.

Recortamos un rectángulo de 36 centímetros y en el extremo superior recortamos en forma de carta o sobre.

Let's cut a rectangle 36 centimeters and on the top side we cut and shape as an envelope.

Hacemos lo mismo con la tela POP que usaremos para el fondo.

And we do the same with the POP fabric for the background.

Recortamos el mismo rectángulo con forma de carta o sobre en un cartón fino de 34 centímetros.

To cut an envelope shaped rectangle of 34 centimeters on fine cardboard.

Juntamos las telas estampada y POP en su lado de al lado revés y comenzamos a coser por la orilla excepto la parte inferior

We join the patterned fabric with the POP fabric at the reverse side and start to sew along the entire edge.

Volteamos la costura y dentro colocamos el cartón fino luego sellamos con aguja e hilo.

We turn the seam and place the fine cardboard inside and sew for closing the seam.

Recortamos 2 óvalos en cartón fino de 11 centímetros, 2 en tela estampada de 12 centímetros y 12 en tela POP de 12 centímetros. Cosemos volteamos y vestimos los óvalos de cartón y sellamos con aguja e hilo.

We cut two ovals on fine cardboard of 11 centimeters, two 12 centimeters patterned fabric ovals and two 12 centimeters POP fabric ovals.

Tomamos cualquiera de las 2 puntas del ovalo revestido y la punta inferior de nuestro rectángulo unimos y por la parte reversa comenzamos a coser por toda la orilla hasta llegar a la otra punta del óvalo.

We take any tip of the covered oval and join on the bottom of our rectangle already sewn and sew along the edge till the other tip.

Luego volteamos y cómo te habrás dado cuenta nuestra cartera ya está tomando forma😉👍🏾

Then we turn the seam and as you can see our handbag is taking its shape.

Pegamos un trozo de cierre mágico en la tapa de la cartera.

To stick a piece of Cierre Mágico at the lid of our handbag.

Y listo para usar.
And ready to use it😊
