Durante varios días, vi promocionando el reto #challengeAccepted al cual fui invitada en varias ocasiones, no quise participar en ese momento pues había leído en varias ocasiones de que se trataba y no era realmente de esa manera como debía ser entendido.
Well, this challenge was a protest against femicide and mistreatment against women. And it was not about placing a photo of us, but that of a murdered woman in the hands of her partner, as a sign that they would be remembered and never forgotten, and as women we would remain in protest and fight against any type of abuse towards women by their partners.
This issue has become highly relevant in recent years as murders and attacks against women grow every day, which is why I believe it is extremely important that we all raise our voices in protest and share each and every one of the cases that we know about and are kept silent, not only to be remembered but also to demand justice from the authorities and more severe measures against the mistreatment of which many women are victims and because they are not listened to in time, they become only Red numbers.
Pues este reto era una protesta en contra del femicidio y el maltrato en contra de las mujeres. Y no se trataba de colocar una foto nuestra, sino el de una mujer asesinada en manos de su pareja, como muestra de que serían recordadas y nunca olvidadas, y como mujeres nos mantendríamos en protesta y pie de lucha en contra de cualquier tipo de maltrato hacia la mujer por parte de sus parejas.
Este tema se ha vuelto en los últimos años de gran relevancia pues cada día crecen los asesinatos y agresiones en contra de las mujeres, razón por la cual creo que es sumamente importante que todas alcemos nuestra voz en protesta y compartamos todos y cada uno de los casos que conocemos y se mantienen en silencio, no solo para que sean recordadas sino también para exigir justicia por partes de las autoridades y medidas más severas en contra del maltrato del que muchas mujeres son víctimas y por no ser escuchadas a tiempos se convierten solo en números rojos.

That is why I want to raise my voice by placing in black and white the photo of one of the last victims of femicide in my country, her name was Karla Ríos, just 39 years old and mother of 2 children, victim at the hands of her former sentimental partner , which is a fugitive from justice until now.
This is why I accept the #challengeAccepted against femicide and asking for Justice for Karla Ríos.
En Venezuela en lo que va de año se han contabilizado 147 femicidio, muchos de los cuales han quedado impunes hasta ahora, situación que me alarma y me llena de preocupación como madre, hermana e hija que soy. Es por esto que quiero alzar la voz colocando en blanco y negro la foto de una de las últimas victimas de femicidio en mi país, su nombre era Karla Ríos de apenas 39 años y madre de 2 hijos, victima a manos de su ex pareja sentimental, el cual se encuentra prófugo de la justicia hasta ahora.
Es por esto que yo acepto el #challengeAccepted en contra del femicidio y pidiendo Justicia para Karla Ríos.
