Hello, good afternoon. Today I wanted to share with you a very interesting topic about rabbits, and I'd like to start by talking about them in this post.
Well, I've been raising rabbits for 2 or 3 years, so I can talk a little about them since I have some knowledge. Since I started raising them, I've raised 153 rabbits over that time. But today I'm here to tell you some interesting facts about these animals and also some other things I've learned about them.
Rabbits are amazing and look a lot like kangaroos because of their hind legs. Rabbits have their babies in 29 to 30 days. When the little bunnies are born, their eyes are not open, but serrated. They also have no fur, which begins to grow 3 to 6 days after birth. These animals have to wait 19 days after birth to be able to leave the burrow because they need to strengthen their bones and open their eyes fully. During this period, their mother will be breastfeeding them with milk. After 19 days, they already begin to eat solids. Their name as newborns is "gazapos," which is unusual since when they grow up, they are called rabbits, and when they are born, "gazapos."
Now, I've liked them since I was a child, which is why I decided to raise these animals. So, to show you what a real rabbit I have at my house, I'll show you some photos of some of them, like one that is small and the other larger. Some other things I could tell you are that they only live 2 to 3 years. I have unfortunately seen many of them die of old age, but I have also seen many born, and the largest number I have seen born has been 9 young rabbits.
They also eat mostly at night, and I think it's about 3 pounds of grass. That's another thing. The food I feed them is herbs like sweet potato stalks or new corn stalks. One of the herbs they like best is sweet potato stalks. It's one of the best-eaten herbs, but it's worth mentioning that they also eat flour or feed like corn and other seeds.
As a pet, the rabbit is exceptional. It's calm and mischievous, but it's a bit difficult to train. However, with good care and daily affection, it can be trained a little easier.
Finally, I can say that I currently have 5 rabbits, three smaller ones and two larger ones, four males and one female. In these two years of raising them, I've learned to value animals because giving them food and seeing how they grow and become attached to you every day is a beautiful thing. That's why I highly recommend that if you want a pet or an animal to raise, choose a rabbit, since they are incredible. They're not the best animal, but they are special.
Well, with that, I hope you liked my post. I also wanted to learn something new, since there's nothing better than learning. I spend my time observing and learning so I can upload quality content and something that contributes. I hope you like it. Bye.
