Hello again, readers! @pearlyshelll here again
If you read Part 1 of my blog, you know that yesterday, August 7, I spent a peaceful morning at “the Shell” in Compostela with my cousin and my friend. We enjoyed the quiet vibes, the soft wind, and of course, many photo moments — especially my funny “MARUPOK” modeling shot.
But of course, after all that walking, laughing, and posing, our stomachs started to say, “Hey! We’re hungry!” And you know what hungry means? Time to find delicious food.
So after Shell, we decided to go to Waboo Restobar — a nice little place not far away from where we were. This is Part 2 of my story. Let’s eat together through words!
A Short Trip to Waboo Restobar
Waboo Restobar was not far from Shell. Just a short ride, and we were there. The place had a cozy vibe. It wasn’t too big, but it felt welcoming.
When we entered, the smell of food instantly made my tummy excited. You know that feeling when you smell something so good and you just want to order everything? Yup, that was me.
We looked at the menu, but in the end, all three of us ordered the same thing. I guess when you know what’s yummy, you just go for it
Our Order: Spicy Tocino, Mango Graham, and Coke
Our main dish was spicy tocino — and wow, just wow! The meat was soft, juicy, and full of flavor. The spice was just enough to make it exciting, but not too much to burn your tongue. It was the kind of food that makes you say, “Lami kaayo!” after every bite.
Of course, we couldn’t forget dessert. We ordered mango graham, and honestly, it was heaven in a cup. Sweet mango, creamy milk, and crushed graham — it’s a simple dessert, but it’s a winner every time.
For drinks, we kept it classic with Coke. Because what’s better than an ice-cold Coke with a yummy meal? That perfect pssssh sound when you open it is like music to my ears.
More Photos, More Fun
Even though we were there mainly for the food, you know me — I still took many pictures!
I snapped photos of our plates, our drinks, the dessert, the table, and of course, us smiling while waiting for the food to arrive. My cousin joked, “Murag food blogger ka dai!” and I just laughed. Maybe I really am one in my heart.
We also took some selfies while eating, trying not to laugh with food in our mouths. Those little moments make the day brighter.
Good Food + Good Friends = Good Day
As we ate, we talked about random things — our favorite foods, school memories, and even silly stuff like “What if we opened our own restobar one day?”
The laughter never stopped. Every bite tasted better because I was sharing it with people who make me feel happy. It’s true what they say — good company makes good food even better.
Waboo Restobar was the perfect next stop after our chill time at Shell. The spicy tocino gave us energy, the mango graham made our sweet tooth happy, and the Coke was the refreshing touch to complete it all.
It wasn’t a fancy meal, but it was yummy and memorable. Just like our Compostela trip — simple but full of joy.
Thank you again for reading Part 2 of my Compostela adventure. I hope you felt like you were there with us, eating and laughing.
This day will always remind me that life doesn’t have to be big and grand to be special. Sometimes, all it takes is a peaceful place, delicious food, and the right people.
Till my next story! Stay happy and enjoy your own little adventures.
