Hello dear Hivers, @pearlyshelll here—bringing you another story shaped by experience, wrapped in reflection. But this one’s extra close to my heart because we made this happen!
This wedding setup you’re about to see wasn’t made by a big event company, nope! It was made by us four—with our own ideas, hands, creativity, laughter, and (yes) lots of pagod HAHAHA. From the floral arrangements to the tiniest ribbon, we poured our time and teamwork into turning a plain space into a dreamy green-themed wedding celebration for Mark and Lynn. It wasn’t always perfect during the process—kulang sa tulog, sabog moments, and “hala, asa na to nga flower?” moments—but we kept going because we wanted it to be magical for them.
So come along and join me as I take you through each corner we designed, one photo and one memory at a time. Let's relive the beauty, the effort, and the joy we felt seeing it all come to life.
The first photo shows off our proudest centerpiece—our MR & MRS table! This is where it all started, literally and emotionally HAHAHA. We carefully placed the lights, fluffed up the flowers, and made sure everything screamed “welcome to forever.” The glowing letters brought so much warmth to the room, and yes, we took pictures in front of it too because why not? HAHAHA We deserved the moment—we worked hard for it!
This next one, the leafy entrance, was honestly one of the spots that gave us the most challenge. Imagine trying to balance leaves, florals, and strings while laughing and sweating HAHAHA. But when we finally stepped back and looked at it… wow. It gave classy tropical vibes and became a perfect corner for candid photos. Guests even complimented it—sulit ang pagod!
Now this third photo—ohh this one was our “main attraction” moment! We spent extra time arranging the arch, placing the lights, and making sure “Mark & Lynn” shined just right. We even had a mini debate about flower placements (yes, seryoso HAHAHA). But the result? Magical. This setup became the heart of the ceremony. It’s where promises were made and love was sealed—and we got to build that stage.
This fourth photo shows our full view masterpiece. Everything from the round tables to the chair spacing had our teamwork written all over it. Honestly, there were moments we were so tired and sabog HAHAHA but we kept going because we wanted it to be perfect for the couple. Seeing it all come together like this made us all say, “Gihago jud ta ani pero worth it!”
Next one shows a closer look at our dining setup—ang ganda, right? The napkin folds, green cloth, fresh flowers—lahat from our ideas and hands. I remember laughing while trying to keep the napkins neat, one of us was even like, “Basta dili lang maguba until guests arrive HAHAHA.” And guess what? It stayed neat and elegant the whole time. Mission accomplished!
The last photo is a quiet but powerful reminder that details matter. We were so focused on the big things, but these tiny blooms and soft green drapes gave the entire setup its soul. We tied them with care, fluffed them just right, and smiled at each other when we saw the arch complete. The teamwork, patience, and kilig vibes—everything was worth it!
SO NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT THE JOURNEY BEFORE WE HAVE THAT NICE OUTCOME
Before that magical setup came to life, it was a rollercoaster of planning, rushing, laughing, and teamwork for the four of us. We started with simple ideas, turned them into lists, and somehow found ourselves hauling fabrics, arranging flowers, and solving last-minute problems like pros—though we were really just figuring it out as we went HAHAHA! There were moments we got tired, made mistakes, or asked each other, “okay ra ni?” but we kept pushing with heart and humor. We played music, shared snacks, and cheered every time something looked good. And when we finally stepped back and saw the whole venue glowing and perfect for Mark & Lynn, we just looked at each other and said, “We did it.” The outcome was beautiful—but the journey? That was unforgettable.
THE VENUE PLACE
TEC MPC in Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City may look simple at first glance, but it’s one of those lowkey places that serve real purpose and peace. Tucked just a few minutes from the Marcelo Fernan Bridge, this cooperative building is not only for members and services—it also works great as a functional venue for small gatherings, meetings, or even intimate events. The surroundings are quiet, the location is very accessible, and the vibe is calm and welcoming. Whether you’re dropping by for coop matters or checking it out as a possible venue for an event, TEC MPC gives off that "okay ra diri, nice sad ang place" energy—nothing too flashy, but definitely dependable and pleasant. A hidden gem in its own little way!
This wasn’t just a wedding setup—it was a labor of love from the four of us. Every flower, fold, and flicker of light carried our efforts, creativity, and laughter. We were just a small team, but with big hearts and shared vision, we created something beautiful for Mark & Lynn’s big day. We didn’t just decorate a venue—we built a memory that will last forever.
Thank youuu Hivers for reading! This blog is more than just a story—it’s a celebration of friendship, teamwork, and the joy of creating something magical together. Until our next project—baka may magpabook na HAHAHA!
