In one of my previous posts, I talked the chance have now to learn many things. I have been in the house for the past 2 months due to the Covid19 pandemic. Schools are lockdown and nowhere to go. I think of utilizing the time in the house to learn new things since all I do is wake up, chores and food.
My brother is a web developer and he told him to teach me how to build. I told him I want to learn JavaScript, but he advised me to start from HTML and CSS. I started the class just a few days ago, and I have been getting very basic in building static stuff.
The image below is about the little styling I did in the practice I am doing using external CSS with the .css extension to link my files. I am using Visual studio code. Though he told me to be using a simple editor so that I will get the very basic. VSC helps with many suggestions and he said it is not the best for beginners.
Well, I am following it and I believe I will learn well even with Visual code studio.
This is my simple HTML file. I used my last published posts as an example to text the _target _top _parent and _self. Target is still the most useful anyway as it will help link site with another tab.
My brother is using the w3schools.com to progress with the lecture. W3schools is a great site to learn things. There are free courses for HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, SQL, PYTHON, PHP, BOOTSTRAP and so much more.
I will be sharing my classes and as I move further with my it. The class has been fun, and my brother is really helping.
Thanks for reading!
