I always like to talk about splinterlands games and always try to ensure my submission on the challenges by the team. Now Its time to share the battle of splinterlands and let the world know about this wonderful game platform.
Once again I am very happy to share that my last week's post for the battle share with Serpentine Spy is highlighted by the team @splinterlands in this weekly Challenge post. A BIG thanks to the lovely team for highlighting my post and I appreciate their efforts. It always makes me feel good when I see my posts highlighted by the team.
Today In this post, I am going to share my battle for the challenge of this week as announced by splinterlands. This week's theme card is Giant Squid and this card is a rare card from the water monster in the untamed edition. I have purchased this car from the market because I did not have this card before.
This card is not an expensive one and I am glad that the team selected one of the cards which are new for me and its nice card to have in the water monster team. This is one of the fantastic reasons to participate in the challenge because through this challenge I get to know one card per week and its pretty good for me. I think many of you would be having the same opinion about the challenge.
Stats and Ability
Giant Squid is a rare card from fire splinter and it costs 5 mana to have this card the team. This is a completely new card to me and I never played with the card before and even I haven't noticed it performing in other battles. I might have seen the card in battles but I never notice it, however, its a pretty nice card to have in water monsters. I think, this one of the cards which are surely a good addition to have and should be part of battle if mana is less (preferably up to 20) and in this case, this can be a good option to choose.
Although there are far larger monsters in the oceans, Giant Squids are some of the most ruthless. They leave trails of corrosive ink wherever they go, and they enjoy toying with their prey before killing and eating it. Luckily for otherwise vulnerable water-breathers, the moaning cry of the Giant Squids announces their arrival for miles in every direction.
My Card Selection for the Battle
This is my battle snapshot and mana was 23 which is not very good and I could choose only a few better cards. I choose 5 cards including furious chicken which does not cost any mana.

Sea Monster
Sea monster is one of my all-time favourite card in the water monster because of two abilities. First- It attacks nicely and seconds its restores health ability. I either use this card in front or put in second place sometimes when I place small cards at the front. this Common card from a water monster that costs 8 mana and it comes from reward edition.
Ruler of the Seas
I played the battle through the water monster and this is such an awesome card that I have in my water team. This is a card which slightly expensive and costs a few $ to add in the account. I did buy it long back and since then I have been playing all my water battles with this whenever available depending upon the battle theme. Its can hit two cards in one shot and thats what I love about it.
Giant Squid (Theme Card)
This is the theme card for this week and I paid some DEC to buy this card from the market. I played a few battles with this card to understand how it works and what could be the best ways to make the most out of it.
Creeping Ooze
This is a card that I use mostly if there is slot empty or I am left with only one mana. Although I have seen this card doing attacks if the level is high and once I upgrade my summoner then it will more worth.
For as long as anyone remembers, the fire mountain of Bren-Ha has spewed nothing but smoke and lava. Lately from its cracks, a small Creeping Ooze has been seeping. It cannot be stopped, and it absorbs anything in its creeping path. To make things worse, it managed to board a boat and escape Mortis.
Furious Chicken
Chicken is surely a nice card and when I play battled with dragon monster then it makes hits also but because I have high-level gold ard with me. But in this battle its just taken to occupy the space and same my another for one-shot abreast but it was not needed in this battle.
Battle Details
I played the battle with ZEROCLOO and this player played with the Death monsters to play in this battle and having pretty nice cards but my card selection was slightly better and this is what made me won the battle. Now let me take you through my battle to show you my strategy and overall gameplay and I hope you will enjoy it.

Did my strategy work? will I try differently next time?
My Strategy with this battle went well and the way I wanted to have the win was done. Giant Squid is certainly a nice attacker card and it did pretty much better than I thought. Few cards did not do anything in the battles because of its good attack and its event hid the last attack to make me a winner.
I have played many battles with this card today and I will keep on trying different ways to play the game. The mana of the battles was not so high but still, I got to choose the best ones possible.
Do you use Giant Squid? Why or why not?
This is a new card for me and before today I never played any battles with Giant Squid. I did buy today but played many battles which made me familiar with it and I got nice strategies to play with great results of this card. I will be using this card for sure in my future battles with fire elements.
