Another week to talk about splinterlands and share the battle. Sharing battle is a fantastic challenge that I always enjoy and like sharing my strategy of battling with you guys.
I always like to talk about splinterlands games and always try to ensure my submission on the challenges by the team. Now Its time to share the battle of splinterlands and let the world know about this wonderful game platform.
The current Season will be ending is about 1 day and there is a lot of competition. It took very long for me to finish the quest and I had to play many battles also to reach back in Gold 1 league.
Today In this post, I am going to share my battle for the challenge of this week as announced by splinterlands. Theme card for this week is Javelin Thrower and this is rare from the Earth monster in the reward print edition. Since I did not have this card with me so I did buy from the market and the price was not too high. I used the currency of DEC token to buy the card and this is so easy and smooth process to perform purchase in the platform as everything is set up so smoothly in the ecosystem.
Another card that is selected by the team to challenge is new for me and its nice card to have in the earth monster team. I have seen this card playing many times but was not sure of its performance but now since I have so will be using it to play battle. This is one of the fantastic reasons to participate in the challenge because through this challenge I get to know one card per week. I think many of you would be having the same opinion about the challenge that it helps us to know about one card every week.
Stats and Ability
Now let's talk a bit about this card and statistics. Javelin Thrower is a rare card from earth splinter and it costs 5 mana to include in the team for the battle. This is a completely new card to me and I never played with the card before but I have played many battles when the opponent player had this card and it played pretty well. Even sometimes I lost the battles because of this card. I think, this one of the cards which are surely a good addition to have and should be part of the battle but its not good for low mana battles. It has an ability named "piercing" which I am not well aware of but I will be familiar when I will play some more battles using this one.
The Javelin Throwers are an especially savage small tribe of female warriors who live in the Giant Grasslands of Primordia. Well known for wearing suits made from the skins of reptiles they kill, these wild women are rarely seen in any settlement or city.
My Card Selection for the Battle
This is my battle snapshot and mana was 44 which so I could choose better cards but the theme was Earthquake it destroyed many of the cards in the battel. I choose 6 cards because of the higher mana.

Unicorn Mustang
This is a quite powerful card in earth monster and its best ability to reduce the damage is so nice. Keeping it front is always a good idea and I always keep it at the front row to ave my other cards and this works well. This is a rare card from the untamed edition it costs 8 mana to make the part of the game.
Flesh Golem
Flesh Golem is one of the cards that I like to use in most of my battles with earth monster and at the mana of 6 this is a powerful card. Its good for attacks and also have the healing ability. This is available in Alfa and Beta both edition.
Javelin Thrower
Here comes the theme card which comes at the mana of 5 its pretty nice option to make it the part of the battle. This is from the reward monster.
Wood Nymph
Wood Nymph is a very important card in the earth team and its from the reward edition of the print. Its healing ability is one of the best parts that I like and making it part of the team helps fight the monster to restore.
StoneSplitter ARC
Retaliation is the best ability of this card and whichever card attacks on it so it hits back. This is a rare card from two editions like Alfa an Beta.
Nectar Queen
This is the real queen in earth monster and this battle, it was a nice addition. Because this theme was an earthquake so nectar Queen is very good as it does not affect by the earthquake. This is a common card from the reward edition.
Battle Details
I played the battle with DS-SM and this player played with the Water monsters to play in this battle and having pretty nice cards but my card selection was slightly better and this is what made me won this battle. Now let me take you through my battle to show you my strategy and overall gameplay and I hope you will enjoy it.

After this battle, I got 38 ratings added to my score and 16 DEC tokens.
Did my strategy work? will I try differently next time?
My Strategy with this battle went well and the way I wanted to have the win was done. Javelin Thrower is certainly a nice attacker card and it did pretty well but its destroyed because of an earthquake effect. Few cards did not do anything in the battles because of its good attack and its event hid the last attack to make me a winner.
I have played many battles with this card today and I will keep on trying different ways to play the game. The mana of the battles was not so high but still, I got to choose the best ones possible
Do you use Javelin Thrower? Why or why not?
This is a new card for me to play but I have seen this card much time while playing battle. I did buy the card but played many battles which made me familiar with it and I got nice strategies to play with great results of this card. I will be using this card for sure in my future battles with fire elements.
