Its Friday and weekend is almost on last the last few weekends this time also no excitement because all the days are almost the same.
In this post, I am going to share my battle for this week's challenge by @splinterlands and this time theme is MANTICORE and this card is an EPIC card from Dragon Monster in reward edition. I get the option to play dragon splinter only a few times so this time I had to spend more time get the battle win.
I did not have this card before so I did buy from the market and even I purchased dragon summoner because without the summoner this card can not be used. Usually, I don't have the theme card then I buy from the market but this time I did for summoner as well because I love participating in the contest and this time I also got one more summoner added in my game. In this post, I am going to share one of my strategies for the battle and how it went through.
DRAKE OF ARNAK (Dragon Summoner )
This is the Summoner from the dragon and I have this level 2 which is a pretty good addition I believe in my game. I am not much familiar with summoner but this card will support common cards of level 3 and rare and epic will support or level 2 however for legendary it will be doing for level 1 only.
One great thing that I got to know about Dragon that since I have level 2 Dragon summoner then I can pick other cards from different splinters and also even if I have level 1 summoner then also it will become level 2 as I am going through dragons. Since this is new for me so I have a lot to explore with this and need some time for this.
The Drake of Arnak is a medium-sized Dragon hybrid. He is highly intelligent and extremely rich, but cannot fly nor breathe fire. All his life he has honed his skills as a summoner, hoping to win a share of the glory that should rightfully be his as a carrier of the fire blood.
MANTICORE
This is an epic card from the Dragon monster and it has dual abilities (FLYING+REACH) which makes it a powerful card.
Another product of the twisted genetic experiments of the Gloridax is on the loose. The hybrid monster known as the Manticore is a cross between a Dragon, a Lion, a scorpion, and countless other monstrosities from which it draws its powers. Except when summoned to battle, the Manticore answers to no one.
Stats and Ability
It cost 4 mana to have in the team and at this mana, this is certainly a great card to have in the team while playing with the dragon.
Card Selection and Placement for Battle
This is my battle snapshot and mana was 24 which is good and I managed to choose 5 cards which are the best of the cards including furious chicken which does not cost any mana. I have level 3 chicken Gold foil which I could use for the first time with level 2 because of level 2 Dragon summoner.

Nectar Queen
This is a strong and powerful rare card from Earth Monster and it was in Level 3 so I kept in front so that I handle all the damage first and also gives nice damage to opponent playing cards.
Wood Nymph
This is one of the best cards because it helps to restore the life of fighting a monster which helps to fight for long and even leads to winning. It also hits back to the cards and I kept in the second place so that it can restore life and also make the hits.
Manticore
I was not sure of its capabilities much so I put it in 3rd place and with the expectation that it would do well and if you see the battle then you would find that my strategy went well.
Serpentine Mystic
This is another card that I am not familiar with because I never played and I got this card through rewards. I was not expecting much from this one and just put it there to occupy the place however I did pretty well and I like it. I will surely consider it to be part of my future battles whenever possible depending upon mana and splinter type.
Furious Chicken
Now at the of the list, this is the card which is like a bonus for me and my son always wants this bonus card to have when slot empty because it certainly saves another farm from one hit at least. However this time it was pretty strong as it was playing with level 2.
Battle Details
I played the battle with RUSLAN44321 and this player also played well however I think my battle was much better than him and thats why I won the game. Now let me take you through my battle to show you my strategy and overall gameplay and I hope you will enjoy it.

Did my strategy work? will I try differently next time?
I am successful in the way I wanted to play the battled and my strategy worked well. Manticore is a new card for me but within a few battles, I could use it rightly. I will surely try different strategies to play and hope these will be fun too. The mana of the battles was average and either not too low or high so I could get other better cards as well. I did choose whatever was the best possible and even the result is great.

This is a new card for me and I did buy it today only. Now because I have used it for few battles today and have Dragon summoner as well so I will be using it for my future battles as well whenever its best suited as per battle mana and cards. My battling experience with this card has been nice so far and I will be using this card for sure in my future battles with the dragon team.
