Good night friends of the community, this is a very personal post that it is possible to do a second part because of its length and it is that I did not have only one experience, I had many more and in each one I had a different growth, without further ado, let's start.
Para empezar, la institución donde estudié mis mejores años de bachillerato, fue fundada por un sacerdote y teólogo francés (San Juan Bautista de La Salle) donde se cuenta que promueve la educación de calidad a los más pobres como un instituto religioso católico, se encuentra en todo el mundo y lo más interesante es que todas las instituciones conservan sus orígenes de la arquitectura francesa del siglo XIX - XX. La más antigua está ubicada en Barquisimeto con 107 años, (construida en 1913).
To begin with, the institution where I studied my best years of high school, was founded by a French priest and theologian (Saint John Baptist de La Salle) where the story goes that it promotes quality education to the poorest as a Catholic religious institute, is located all over the world and the most interesting thing is that all the institutions preserve their origins of French architecture of the 19th - 20th century. The oldest is located in Barquisimeto with 107 years, (built in 1913).
Recuerdo que estaba en mi tercer año de secundaria y fue a mediados de 2016 que formé parte de un movimiento fundado por la Pastoral Juvenil que reúne a los jóvenes de la institución para promover los valores (Fe, Fraternidad, Servicio, Justicia, Compromiso) en más detalle a través de actividades recreativas y de crecimiento personal y espiritual.
I remember that I was in my third year of high school and it was in the middle of 2016, I was part of a movement founded by the Youth Ministry that brings together young people from the institution in order to promote values (Faith, Fraternity, Service, Justice, Commitment) in more detail through recreational activities and personal and spiritual growth.
Dentro del movimiento se hizo una selección de estudiantes con capacidad de aprender, dirigir, cooperar y organizar, que estuvieran dispuestos a participar en uno de los eventos y reuniones más importantes del Distrito Lasallista Norandino, ya que en ese momento se seleccionó a Barquisimeto para realizar lo que sería la ÚLTIMA reunión, por lo que tenía que ser memorable.
Within the movement, a selection was made of students with the ability to learn, lead, cooperate and organize, who were willing to participate in one of the most important events and reunions of the Norandino Lasallian District, since Barquisimeto was selected at that time to hold what would be the LAST meeting, so it had to be memorable.
Los estudiantes y profesores responsables asistieron a las escuelas La Salle del Sector Venezuela (Caracas, Valencia, Mérida y Puerto Cabello) y parte del Sector Colombia (Medellín). La reunión consistió en permanecer 3 noches y 4 días, y los que se organizaron desde la misma institución tuvieron que quedarse un día antes por cuestiones de protocolo.
Students and teachers in charge attended from La Salle Schools in the Venezuela Sector (Caracas, Valencia, Merida and Puerto Cabello) and part of the Colombia Sector (Medellin). The meeting consisted of staying 3 nights and 4 days, and those who organized from the same institution had to stay a day earlier due to protocol issues.
From recreational activities, along with the food, to attend the modules with educational purposes, there were also their moments of fun, but more than that, was the personal growth for each of the participants, I witnessed the part of the protocol which was to supervise and be that right hand to any inconvenience, something that was missing and also as support, I met wonderful people and had a very intimate encounter with God, I strengthened my friendships and it served me as an experience and I subsisted my desire to give the best of me and continue attending more meetings promoted by the institution.
Desde las actividades recreativas, junto con la comida, hasta asistir a los módulos con fines educativos, también hubo sus momentos de diversión, pero más que eso, fue el crecimiento personal de cada uno de los participantes, fui testigo de la parte del protocolo que consistía en supervisar y ser esa mano derecha ante cualquier inconveniente, algo que faltaba y también como apoyo, conocí gente maravillosa y tuve un encuentro muy íntimo con Dios, fortalecí mis amistades y me sirvió como experiencia y subsistí en mi deseo de dar lo mejor de mí y seguir asistiendo a más reuniones promovidas por la institución.
After Casa Grande 2016 (name of the meeting), I did not stop there and I was one of the faithful servants of the Youth Ministry, encouraging the young people to awaken this desire of commitment to continue growing with us, a very unforgettable experience. This was the first and after that I had about 4 more meetings of the same institution, (the last one I attended was last year)
Después de Casa Grande 2016 (nombre del encuentro), no me detuve ahí y fui uno de los fieles servidores de la Pastoral Juvenil, animando a los jóvenes a despertar este deseo de compromiso para seguir creciendo con nosotros, una experiencia muy inolvidable. Esta fue la primera y después de ella tuve unas 4 reuniones más de la misma institución, (la última a la que asistí fue el año pasado)
Puedo hacer varios posts sin cansarme describiendo todo lo que aprendí jajaja ya que fue un proceso que me marcó como persona, estaba pasando por un proceso duro en mi familia y salí adelante de la manera más positiva, por eso llevo el nombre de la institución donde estudié y pasé los mejores momentos de mi vida, sin nada más que agregar, me despido, espero que les haya gustado! Estoy muy agradecido de compartirlo con ustedes.
I can make several posts without getting tired describing everything I learned hahaha since it was a process that marked me as a person, I was going through a hard process in my family and I went ahead in the most positive way, that's why I carry the name of the institution where I studied and spent the best moments of my life, without anything else to add, I say goodbye, I hope you liked it!
