No soy especialista en el tema, el siguiente post es un tema de mi experiencia y el proceso que las fotos que tomé de mí mismo; durante mi transición también pasé por un concepto negativo sobre mí mismo, mi forma de escapar fue siempre el arte, allí expresé mis emociones ya sea a través de la fotografía o el dibujo
When I looked at myself in the mirror I used to exaggerate negative aspects and physically if I had a very bad day my look would become tired and sad, my biggest physical complex when observing my face was my abundant dark circles under my eyes, I would allude to myself like a raccoon: nocturnal and with abundant darkening in the eye area.
Cuando me miraba al espejo exageraba los aspectos negativos y físicamente si tenía un día muy malo mi mirada se volvía cansada y triste, mi mayor complejo físico al observar mi rostro eran las abundantes ojeras, me aludía a mí mismo como un mapache: nocturno y con abundante oscurecimiento en la zona de los ojos.
It's not that it's bad, but when we don't accept ourselves as we are and we don't do something to improve it, we tend to immerse ourselves only in the negative concept, without seeing beyond the virtues we have, the human being tends to exaggerate when he doesn't feel satisfied in matters of self-esteem
No es que sea malo, pero cuando no nos aceptamos como somos y no hacemos algo para mejorarlo, tendemos a sumergirnos sólo en el concepto negativo, sin ver más allá de las virtudes que tenemos, el ser humano tiende a exagerar cuando no se siente satisfecho en cuestiones de autoestima
So that day I looked at myself in the mirror, and decided to learn to visualize my insecurity in a very beautiful way, I washed my face and started to put bright stars under my eyes, the result was very attractive to me, I feel the expression of each photograph in my eyes
Así que ese día me miré en el espejo, y decidí aprender a visualizar mi inseguridad de una manera muy hermosa, me lavé la cara y empecé a poner estrellas brillantes bajo mis ojos, el resultado fue muy atractivo para mí, siento la expresión de cada fotografía en mis ojos
It may be something simple, but for me it had a great meaning and from that moment on I accepted my physical features, now with or without make-up I don't stop looking pretty, I like to dress up to feel good, I take care of myself and I constantly remember positive aspects of myself and I am working on converting my weaknesses as an impulse for virtues.
Puede ser algo sencillo, pero para mí tuvo un gran significado y a partir de ese momento acepté mis rasgos físicos, ahora con o sin maquillaje no dejo de lucir bonita, me gusta vestirme para sentirme bien, me cuido y recuerdo constantemente aspectos positivos de mí misma y estoy trabajando en convertir mis debilidades en un impulso para las virtudes.
All of us undoubtedly go through adversity, yet our power to face that difficult moment depends very much on our self-esteem: our determination not to become unmotivated and to come out with objective solutions.
Sin duda, todos nosotros pasamos por la adversidad, pero nuestro poder para enfrentar ese momento difícil depende mucho de nuestra autoestima: nuestra determinación de no desmotivarnos y de salir con soluciones objetivas.
Thanks to my defects I took that impulse towards what I am passionate about and love to share, if it were not for those difficult moments some time ago I would not be the person I am now, it is important to take our moment of reflection and always have a goal set towards what we want, we must be persistent until we find the maximum satisfaction towards what makes us happy!
Gracias a mis defectos tomé ese impulso hacia lo que me apasiona y me encanta compartir, si no fuera por esos momentos difíciles de hace algún tiempo no sería la persona que soy ahora, es importante tomar nuestro momento de reflexión y tener siempre una meta fijada hacia lo que queremos, debemos ser persistentes hasta encontrar la máxima satisfacción hacia lo que nos hace felices!
