Hello everyone, I would like to share with you my educational stories.
My wife edited my stories for clarity. I made these stories based on my observations suitable for the elementary school. I am the one who illustrated my stories. To make a story, I made it one hour. The hard part of it is to draw illustrations. Drawing an illustration took one week, sometimes more than one week. The reason why I made many stories is because of my wife. My wife at that time was a teacher 2. Her new principal advised my wife to make up stories and submit them to the division. Even though my wife had no idea about the criteria and the purpose of those stories, she still accepted that advice.
Since we have no idea of the criteria, I made many story like pebbles, environment, and society. Then, my wife submitted them to the division office. The division supervisor was surprised by her stories. She really appreciated the effort of my wife. But it took 2 years of making stories, and it seemed nothing happened; no promotion came to my wife. But still we didn't give up. I continued to make a story and illustrated it, and my wife edited it. We don't mind the expenses or the stress. My wife said to me, We don't give up. We harvest what we sow.
Then one time the division informed my wife they needed all her stories for the exhibit contest in the regional, held in SM Cebu City. How happy are my wife and I to hear the news! The stories we made as part of the division exhibit contest won first prize. And my wife was given a certificate of recognition as part of that contest. From that time the division from time to time asked her for other stories. One year after, my wife was promoted to teacher 3. Again after 2 years, my wife was promoted to Master Teacher 1.
Now this time, the division informed my wife to make a GAD (Gender and Development) story for the regional contest. So my wife attended the regional seminar for 2 days online. So this is a story I'm making now; my wife is already editing this. I and my one daughter are helping to make illustrations.
I hope you enjoy my experience story.
