A Functional Wire-Based Helicopter / Un Helicóptero Funcional a base de alambre✱✱

Hello my friends, as last time I received a lot of support in the elaboration of the plane to scale, this time I had planned to make a "Helicopter" so I put more to the work and carried it out, it did not take me more than 6 hours. relaxed and calm way.

The development of this had a little more skill as I have two engines in series, the main engine and the one in the tail, and this has a small switch that activates both engines, I remain discreetly in order to turn it on whenever someone wants touch it and play with it.

Well without further ado I leave you the materials and the step by step of this special elaboration.

Hola mis amigos, como la ves pasada recibí bastante apoyo en la elaboración del avión a escala, esta vez tenia pensado hacer un "Helicóptero" así que puse manos ala obra y lo lleve a cabo, no me tomo mas de 6 Horas, haciéndolo de forma relajada y tranquila.

La elaboración de este tuvo un poco mas de destreza pues llevo dos motores en serie, el motor principal y el que lleva en la cola, y este llevo un pequeño interruptor que activa ambos motores, quedo de forma discreta a forma de encenderlo cuando alguien quiera tocarlo y jugar con el.

Bueno sin mas les dejo los materiales my el paso a paso de esta elaboración tan especial.

Materials to use: As always, COPPER WIRE.. Tin and soldering iron. Pliers and tweezers. For the ornament: Colored glossy paper black and green. A thin cardboard to assemble the body of the plane. Glue and scissors. For the Motor, use a (2) 5 Vlt motor from an Old DVD Player, with a 3.7 Vlt battery. The propeller was built from a Plastic Sheet from the Case of a movie.

Materiales a usar: Como siempre , ALAMBRE DE COBRE. Estaño y soldadora. Alicates y pinzas. Para el adorno: Papel lustrillo de Colores y negro y verde. Una cartulina delgadda para armar el cuerpo del avion. Pegamento y tijeras. Para el Motor, utilice 2 motorer de 5 Vlt de un Reproductor dvd Viejo, con una bateria de 3.7 Vlts. La helice se contruyo de una Lamina de Platstico del Estuche de una pelicula.

Step by Step / Paso a Paso:

The first thing I did was to form two large circles and I gave them an oval shape, this so that here the cabin of our helicopter is formed.

Lo primero que hice fue formar dos círculos grandes y les di forma ovalada, esto para que aquí se forme la cabina de nuestro Helicóptero.

Then prepare the motor for use by sanding its surface well to weld it to the base of the cabin.

Luego prepare el motor a use lijando bien su superficie para soldarlo a la base de la cabina.

Then add cross braces and cab frame to give it shape and stability. For the floor, make two semicircles that will give it an oval shape.

Después agregue soportes transversales y la estructura de la cabina, esto para darle forma y estabilidad. Para el suelo agregue dos semicírculos que le dieran la forma ovalada.

Finished with the cabin go to the tail, for them I used 4 linear copper cuts of about 16 cm approximately and I was soldering them to the 4 symmetrical esima of the cabin and at the end I joined them with a solder point.

Terminada con la cabina pase a la cola, para ellos use 4 cortes lineales de cobre de unos 16 cm aproximadamente y los fui soldando a las 4 esquinas simétricas de la cabina y al final los uní con un punto de soldadura.

Once the tail was finished, I also added reinforcements to its structure, as used by some helicopters.

Terminada la cola, también le añadí refuerzos en su estructura, tal cual como lo usan algunos helicópteros.

With the cockpit and tail ready, move on to the supports for landing; for them use a stronger piece of wire and with twisted copper strips finish the ones that join the cabin with the floor supports.

Teniendo la cabina y la cola lista, pase a los soportes para el aterrizaje; para ellos use un pedazo de alambre mas fuerte y con tiras enrolladas del de cobre termine los que unen la cabina con los soportes del suelo.

Once all the metal structure of the helicopter is finished, go to the installation of the second motor in the tail, for this use a small motor. Its propeller is made of plastic from the cover of an old movie.

Una vez estando terminado toda la estructura metálica del Helicóptero, pase a la instalación del segundo motor en la cola, para ello use un motor pequeño. Su hélice esta construida con plástico de la caratula de una película vieja.

Glued the engine to the tail, finish the circuits, the second motor is connected to the first, so that both turn on at the same time and have a small switch that activates them; This is discreetly below the metal structure. (The battery I use is 3.7 v rechargeable and it was also inside the structure, in the cabin).

Pegado el motor de la cola, termine los circuitos, el segundo motor esta conectado al primero, de modo que ambos encienden a la vez y llevan un pequeño interruptor que los activa; este esta de forma discreta por debajo de la estructura metálica. (la batería que use es de 3.7 v recargable y también quedo entro de la estructura, en la cabina).

Having the engines and the entire frame of the helicopter ready now, it only remains to add the main propellers, for this I also used the cover of an old movie; draw the four symmetrically and cut them with scissors.

Teniendo los motores y todo el armazón del helicóptero listo ahora solo queda agregar las hélices principales, para ello también use la caratula de una vieja película; dibuje las cuatro de forma simétrica y con una tijera las corte.

It is almost ready and it looks good but now it only remains to add some color and a final finish, for them I used black paper and glue, but to give it a military touch with green paper I gave it a touch of camouflage.

Ya casi esta listo y luce bien pero ahora solo queda agregar algo de color y de acabado final, para ellos use papel negro y pegas, pero para darle un toque militar con papel verde le di un toque de camuflaje.
