September 14, 2024 - McDo and J&L shopping moments

This day was one of those simple yet memorable moments spent with family. In the morning, our parents brought us to McDonald’s, and honestly, I loved every bit of it. The moment felt extra special. Not because of something extravagant, but because we were all together. We ordered burgers, fries, drinks, and of course, fried chicken with rice. To be honest, the fried chicken alone already filled us up, but of course, we still enjoyed the rest of the food. We were so full, but we kept laughing and eating anyway.
While we were eating, we chatted and laughed about all sorts of things. There’s just something about sharing a meal with your family that makes everything taste even better.
Later that afternoon, we headed to J&L Shopping Mall. It’s one of our favorite places to shop, partly because we have a VIP card that gives us discounts. We enjoyed walking around, browsing the stores, and pointing out interesting or funny items we came across. Even if we didn’t buy much, we had fun just roaming around and being together.

We would split up for a bit to check different sections, but we’d call each other when we found something nice. It was such a relaxed and happy time.
Honestly, I’ve come to appreciate that the most enjoyable moments don’t always come from grand occasions. Sometimes, it’s in the simple days—sharing a meal, laughing while shopping, and being surrounded by people who matter most. That’s what made this day so meaningful to me.

September 19, 2024 - Dance Performance
When it's P.E. season, a dance performance is always present 😅. As expected, our teacher grouped us and gave us time to plan our presentation. Our group decided to go with a mashup: "Better When I’m Dancing" x "Dahil Sa’yo." Actually, I find the dance steps challenging especially that I'm not really into dancing. The steps were energetic, so we all agreed: if the dance is astig (cool), then we should be astig too.
Practices weren’t always easy. There were days we felt tired, stressed with other subjects, and our schedules didn’t always align. But even with all that, we found a way to make it work. We’d practice during break times or squeeze in a quick rehearsal after class. Of course, there were laughs, and bloopers 🤣.
To be honest, I’ve never really considered myself a dancer. I usually feel a little shy or awkward when performing, especially when a crowd is watching. But when it’s for a grade and more importantly, when it’s a team effort, I remind myself to just enjoy it and give it my best. I told myself, “You don’t need to be perfect. Just feel the music and have fun with your group.”
On the day of the performance, I make sure I wouldn’t mess up.
After our performance, I felt proud. Not just because we nailed the steps, but because I faced something that used to make me nervous. I didn’t let fear stop me, and I actually ended up enjoying it.
September 28, 2024 - Intrams Moment
Intrams this year hit differently because the venue wasn’t just in school but at the Municipal Hall, which made everything feel more special and serious.
But the best part for me is that my younger sibling joined the singing contest (as usual). She's always been good at singing, but hearing her perform in front of a big crowd just gave me chills. I made sure to look good too of course, I need to look presentable to symbolize as a proud ate (sister) haha.

Before her turn, I was the one getting nervous. I even felt like I was the one performing. But the moment she stepped on stage and started singing, I forgot about everything. Her soft, confident, and full of emotion. I just stood there, smiling like a proud sister.

After her performance, people around us started complimenting her. Some teachers even approached her, and I could tell they were impressed. I felt so proud, not just because she did well, but because I saw how far she’s come. She gave her best and it showed.
The rest of the day was fun too. We watched other events, took photos, ate snacks, and laughed a lot. Sometimes, all it takes is one performance to remind you just how proud you are of your family.
September 30, 2024 - 21st Century Filming

This day was both fun and exhausting because this is our filming day for our 21st Century Literature subject. It was one of those tasks that looked easy on paper but took a lot of energy and creativity in real life. We were tasked to produce a short film as a performance project, and just like any group project, it came with its fair share of challenges and laughter.

I wore a black dress for my role, something that matched the vibe of the character I had to portray. We spent a good amount of time searching for the perfect spots to shoot our scenes. We were walking around campus, even checking areas outside just to find those "aesthetic" backgrounds that would match the tone of our story.
Honestly, it was tiring. Our feet were aching and there were times we had to retake scenes over and over again just because one line was missed or someone laughed in the background. But even with all those moments, I still enjoyed the process.

More than the filming itself, I enjoyed the teamwork. We had moments of frustration but we also had lots of laughs, inside jokes, and "behind-the-scenes" bloopers that made everything more memorable.
“You’ll never truly know the effort behind a few minutes of video until you’re the one in front of the camera, walking miles, and repeating the same line five times just to get it right.”
In the end, there is no exact words to describe how fast time flies. Not even a single pen can sum it all. How about you guys? You can freely share your experience in the comment section 😀.
