Desde hace mucho tiempo tengo la idea de publicar videos, algo que siempre he dejado en pausa, principalmente porque me intimida hablar ante una cámara, algo que hasta a mí me sorprende, porque cuando lo pienso de manera racional, ni que me fuera a morder ¿verdad? Igual pasan los años y no me he atrevido.
Pero estas vacaciones me propuse empezar a aprender a crear videos, porque es una habilidad muy útil y luego en el camino quién sabe.
Lo veo como avanzar un paso más hacia eso que tanto temo y que muchos hacen de manera tan natural.
For a long time I've had the idea of publishing videos, something I've always put on hold, mainly because I'm intimidated to speak in front of a camera, something that even surprises me, because when I think about it rationally, it's not like I'm going to bite, right? Maybe the years go by and I haven't dared.
But this vacation I decided to start learning how to create videos, because it is a very useful skill and then on the way who knows.
I see it as another step towards what I fear so much and that many do so naturally.
Ayer mi hijita me acompañó a intentar una estrategia para crear videos en Canva, peor no logré que me quedaran como yo quería y entonces ella me dijo: Mami, yo lo veo más fácil en CapCut y me explicó un poco lo más básico, porque esto fue ya pasadas las 10 de noche, como yo soy bastante terca había estado intentando diferentes formas de usar Canva, que de paso, me parece una herramienta genial, me gusta mucho.
Yo soy exigente conmigo misma, sé que estaré todos estos días practicando, experimentando, encontrando una manera de crear videos que me haga sentir conforme.
Sé que al inicio serán nivel aficionado, pero es lo que toca cuando aprendemos por nuestra cuenta, por suerte, hay mucha información en las redes para practicar.
Yesterday my little daughter came with me to try a strategy to create videos in Canva, but I couldn't get them the way I wanted and then she told me: Mommy, I see it easier in CapCut and explained to me the basics, because this was after 10 pm, as I'm quite stubborn I had been trying different ways to use Canva, which by the way, I think is a great tool, I really like.
I am demanding with myself, I know that I will be all these days practicing, experimenting, finding a way to create videos that make me feel satisfied.
I know that at the beginning they will be amateur level, but that's what happens when we learn on our own, luckily, there is a lot of information on the networks to practice.
Al final del día estaba agotada, pero feliz, porque estaba aprendiendo algo nuevo.
Pensé en lo tanto que me gusta la dinámica del aprendizaje, creo que por eso me dediqué a estudiar una cosa tras otra y ahora me pregunto ¿por qué me si me gusta tanto, dejé de hacerlo?
At the end of the day I was exhausted, but happy, because I was learning something new.

Es el momento de evaluar lo que me hace feliz e ir por ello, siempre lo ha sido, pero nunca es tarde para comenzar.
Muchas veces, vivir en modo automático no nos permite ver que hay una forma diferente de hacer las cosas, a las que ya estamos acostumbrados. Sin embargo, cambiarlas nos saca de nuestra zona de confort, nos permite crecer y expandir nuestros límites.
No podemos saber qué nos espera del otro lado de una nueva habilidad, de un nuevo conocimiento, de una nueva forme de ver la vida.
Lo que sí sabemos, es que mientras sigamos haciendo que hacemos, los resultados serán los mismos que hemos obtenido hasta ahora y, desde mi punto de vista, por muy buenos que sean (en el mejor de los casos), ¿nos satisface quedarnos allí el resto de nuestras vidas?
Pienso que como seres humanos, la motivación al logro nos mueve hacia nuestro crecimiento. Alcanzamos una meta y buscamos otra. No imagino una vida sin este estímulo.
It is time to evaluate what makes me happy and go for it, it always has been, but it is never too late to start.
Many times, living in automatic mode does not allow us to see that there is a different way of doing things, to which we are already accustomed. However, changing them takes us out of our comfort zone, allows us to grow and expand our limits.
We cannot know what awaits us on the other side of a new skill, a new knowledge, a new way of looking at life.
What we do know is that as long as we keep doing what we do, the results will be the same as what we have been getting so far and, from my point of view, no matter how good they are (at best), are we satisfied to stay there for the rest of our lives?
I think as human beings, achievement motivation moves us toward growth. We reach one goal and seek another. I can't imagine a life without this stimulus.
