¡NOS FUIMOS DE BODA SEÑORES! Mi fin de semana fue muy movido porque mientras algunos están planeando bodas, cumpleaños, bautizos, otros seguimos nuestras rutinas y tal vez tenemos una invitación y/o participación en algunos de esos eventos como fue en mi caso.
Me dieron algo de dinero para comprar las nuevas sandalias que quería para la boda, no porque quisiera estrenarlas sino porque no tenía las ideales para la ocasión, salimos rápidamente al día siguiente a comprarlas (viernes).
Mi experiencia comprando calzado siempre es estresante, nunca es algo que pueda ser fácil y rápido. Suelo tener que elegir el modelo adecuado de sandalias porque no cualquier sandalia me queda bien, y cuando por fin consigo unas que me gustan y me quedan bien, pues adivina qué... ¡no hay talla para mí! Salimos a las 8 de la mañana y regresamos a la 1 de la tarde, visitamos casi todas las tiendas pero ya estaba estresada y elegí unas solo para salir del paso porque no hay ni siquiera sandalias bonitas, sin embargo me terminaron gustando y todos los que las vieron me hicieron buenos comentarios.
WE WENT WEDDING GENTLEMEN! My weekend was very busy because while some are planning weddings, birthdays, baptisms, others are following our routines and maybe we have an invitation and/or participation in some of those events as it was in my case.
They gave me some money to buy the new sandals I wanted for the wedding, not because I wanted to wear them for the first time but because I didn't have the ideal ones for the occasion, we went out quickly the next day to buy them (Friday).
My shoe shopping experience is always stressful, it's never something that can be quick and easy. I usually have to choose the right model of sandals because not any sandal fits me, and when I finally get some that I like and fit me, well guess what.... there's no size for me! We left at 8 in the morning and came back at 1 in the afternoon, we visited almost all the stores but I was already stressed and I chose some just to get out of the way because there are not even nice sandals, however I ended up liking them and everyone who saw them gave me good comments.
Ese día volví cansada porque lo que más me molesta de salir aquí es el sol, me mata. Mi mamá había comprado unas telas y llegué a casa haciendo unos shorts que usamos debajo de las faldas y vestidos. Por cierto quedaron muy bonitos, estaban hechos con tela Seul, se ajustan muy bien al cuerpo, es cómodo. Me ha dado ideas para conjuntos deportivos.
Al día siguiente (sábado) había servicio en la iglesia a las 9 de la mañana, así que tuve que volver a levantarme temprano. Ese día buscamos el regalo y lavamos los vestidos.
El domingo fue el gran día. Empezó a llover a cántaros toda la mañana. Cuando por fin dejó de llover salimos a comprar comida para el almuerzo, luego peiné a mi madre y en todo eso, llegamos tarde pero por suerte retrasaron la boda dos horas porque hasta la luz se fue en el lugar de celebración y en la iglesia también se fue unos minutos antes de que empezara la boda y ni siquiera era de día. Gracias a todo eso me dio tiempo a llegar a la iglesia, nos llevaron allí y pude peinar a dos de mis compañeras y arreglarme yo a tiempo.

My mom had bought some fabrics and I came home making some shorts that we wear under our skirts and dresses. The next day (Saturday) was church service at 9 am, so I had to get up early again. That day we looked for the gift, and washed the dresses.
Sunday was the big day. It started pouring rain all morning. When it finally stopped raining we went out to buy food for lunch, then I did my mother's hair and in all that, we were late but luckily they delayed the wedding by two hours because even the power went out at the venue and at the church it also went out a few minutes before the wedding started and it wasn't even daylight. Thanks to all that I had time to get to the church, they took us there and I was able to do the hair of two of my companions and get ready myself on time.

Also, they put some carpets that lifted up with the slightest movement, it was a horrible experience. I didn't like it but we all looked pretty and that overshadowed the mistakes. Now I remember it and it makes me laugh.
Mi experiencia formando parte de un cortejo nupcial fue agradable porque me lo pasé bien con mis hermanos, amigos y mi madre. Nos reímos mucho con todo lo que pasaba y me sentí muy relajada al salir de todo esto. No puedo negar que les faltó mucha organización para que la entrada quedara como se esperaba, hubiera sido más bonito si no fuera por los detalles. La decoración de la celebración fue preciosa para las fotos, me gustó mucho. Por lo demás solo puedo felicitar a los novios, porque dieron un gran paso y tendrán un bonito recuerdo. My experience being part of a wedding procession was nice because I had a good time with my siblings, friends and my mother. We laughed a lot with everything that was going on and I felt very relaxed coming out of it all. I can't deny that they lacked a lot of organization to make the entrance look as expected, it would have been nicer if it wasn't for the details. The decoration of the celebration was beautiful for the photos, I really liked it. Otherwise I can only congratulate the bride and groom, because they took a big step and will have a nice memory.
