I have not been consistent with contenting in the last few days because of the emotions that I've developed since I head of the hive launch news from @hiveio. On one part I'm happy that the steem community is united towards true decentralization and on one part, I'm feeling bad that after all we've put into building the brand "steem", we finally got to be identified with another name.
It's just few minutes, about three, from the launch of https:hive.io and a great number of Steem community users and dapps are moving in to build a new brand - "hive". I know how much I've personally put in to build the brand "steem" on other socialmedia and offline.
My Creativity Hub in Uyo, Southern Nigeria is literally known as a "Steem Hub" and now I will be considering a rebrand of the office Space to capture the ordeals of hive.io. Certianly, I'll have to rebrand to #HiveHub or related names.
I've already made some printout of samples of thumbnails of the hive brand and I've tried taking some awesome photos in my Creativity hub showing off the printed thumbnails. I am very optimistic about HIVE and I hope to see $HIVE ranging into $5 or more as we emerge.
It is beautiful to make my first login via the temporary @uyobong/posts and seeing that my posts pending payout on steem are also pending payout in HIVE. I see a wake of great surge of wealth. Above is a printed screenshot of my profile page on hive.blog and I'm happy launching into hive with over 70 reputation.
Hive promises to be a truly decentralized blockchain with super characteristics:

I trust to see dapps thrive as promised by developers on the hive blockchain.
Hive has a thriving ecosystem of apps, communities & individuals, leveraging the Hive blockchain & decentralised structure.
Truly, we are marching into a revolutionalized blockchain. I will give in my best to the promotion of hive via the #promo-hive tag on twitter shortly and I hope great investors like @Theycallmedan will always be supporting as usual.
Already, the printing of the thumbnails costs about $2 and I feel excited doing that to promote hive off the blockchain. Looking forward to printing branded t-shirts and other gift/office items to promote hive around my locality.
I will be glad to hook with great communities as we scale into the hive blockchain minutes from now.
