Since the beginning of my adolescence I had very little acne outbreaks, this had never been a serious problem and even I did not take measures to take care of my skin, I used any soap, I did not even use sunscreen (very serious by the way that is not done haha). However at the end of 2020 that changed, my acne outbreak began at age 20 where of course there are factors that caused it.
A mediados de Octubre del 2020 todavía la pandemia estaba muy reciente, sin embargo al estar tanto tiempo encerrada, despertó en mi la curiosidad que querer tener mi primer empleo formal (ahora me arrepiento por todo lo que pase jaja) y se me presentó la oportunidad de trabajar en una cadena de Tiendas principalmente de zapatos muy famosa aquí en Venezuela, honestamente vi la oportunidad perfecta ya que estaba en clases online y disponía de tiempo libre. Cuando comencé a trabajar no sabia lo que me esperaba, jornadas muy largas, poco tiempo para comer, y mucho mucho estrés.
Así que comencé a comer muchísima comida chatarra para calmar la ansiedad, además estaba en clases online y el poco tiempo que tenia libre lo utilizaba para estudiar de verdad que fueron 6 meses de mucho estrés y poco descanso y de alguna manera mi cuerpo debía expresarlo y lamentablemente fue en mi rostro.
In mid-October 2020 the pandemic was still very recent, however being locked up for so long, awakened in me the curiosity to want to have my first formal job (now I regret everything that happened haha) and I was presented with the opportunity to work in a chain of stores mainly shoes very famous here in Venezuela, honestly I saw the perfect opportunity since I was in online classes and had free time. When I started working I didn't know what to expect, very long hours, little time to eat, and a lot of stress.
So I started to eat a lot of junk food to calm my anxiety, I was also in online classes and the little time I had free I used to study, it was really 6 months of a lot of stress and little rest and somehow my body had to express it and unfortunately it was in my face.
Cuando por fin tomo la decisión de dejar el empleo, es que comienzo a darme cuenta de el daño que me hice en muchos sentidos y al nunca haber presentado un brote de acné tan grande así que comencé a investigar algunos tratamientos para reducirlo. Farmatodo es una cadena de farmacias a nivel nacional y presentan las llamadas "fórmulas magistrales" elaboradas con el fin de tratar distintas partes del cuerpo especialmente el rostro siendo muy famosas por su relación calidad-precio lo cual era perfecto para mi, así que compre algunos productos que me han ayudado muchisimo a reducir mi acné.
When I finally made the decision to quit my job, I began to realize the damage I had done to myself in many ways and I had never had such a big acne outbreak so I began to investigate some treatments to reduce it. Farmatodo is a chain of pharmacies nationwide and they present the so called "magistral formulas" elaborated with the purpose of treating different parts of the body especially the face being very famous for their quality-price relation which was perfect for me, so I bought some products that have helped me a lot to reduce my acne.
1) Jabón neutro: esta hecho a base de ácido salicílico el cual es un limpiador y exfoliante que se encarga de la eliminación de las espinillas y ayudar a reducir las manchas que pueden dejar.
2)Gel anti-acné y peróxido de bezolio: El gel antiacné es ácido salicílico mas gel base que deja una sensación mentolada en la piel, solo se aplica por las noches y puede llegar a picar un poco si tienes los poros muy abiertos. El peróxido de benzolio se encarga de eliminar las bacterias que causan la formación del granito. Ya tengo aproximadamente 4 meses desde que empecé mi tratamiento y debo decir que el peróxido de benzolio no me funcionó para nada, sin embargo a mi hermana si la ha ayudado bastante por lo tanto son dos opciones las cuales no puedes usar juntas. Primero puedes probar una y si no funciona comienzas con la otra aplicación.
1) Neutral soap: it is made of salicylic acid which is a cleanser and exfoliator that is responsible for the removal of blackheads and help reduce the spots that can leave.
2)Anti-acne gel and benzoyl peroxide: The anti-acne gel is salicylic acid plus gel base that leaves a minty sensation on the skin, it is only applied at night and can sting a little if you have very open pores. The benzoyl peroxide is in charge of eliminating the bacteria that cause the granite formation. I'm about 4 months since I started my treatment and I must say that the benzoyl peroxide didn't work for me at all, but it has helped my sister a lot, so they are two options which you can't use together. First you can try one and if it doesn't work you start with the other application.
3)Tónico Facial astringente: este es uno de mis productos favoritos, ayuda a cerrar los poros y a facilitar la penetración de los productos en la piel, me lo aplico siempre cuando me he lavado el rostro con el jabón neutro y luego continuo con los demás productos.
4) Gel Hidratante: es el mejor si eres de piel mixta a grasa como yo, seca súper rápido pero a las vez deja el rostro suave y nada áspero. Esta hecho a base de Aloe Vera y Vitamina E, todavía no he podido encontrar una crema hidratante que no me ponga la cara grasosa, así que este gel ha sido una maravilla.
3) Astringent Facial Toner: this is one of my favorite products, it helps to close the pores and to facilitate the penetration of the products into the skin, I always apply it when I have washed my face with neutral soap and then continue with the other products.
4) Moisturizing Gel: it is the best if you have combination to oily skin like me, it dries super fast but at the same time leaves the face soft and not rough at all. It's made with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, I still haven't been able to find a moisturizer that doesn't make my face greasy, so this gel has been a marvel..
5) Protector solar: no es específicamente para tratar el acné pero si es fundamental para proteger tu piel y también a frenar este tipo de brotes. Este protector solar es muy bueno ya que igual que el gel hidratante seca muy rápido y no deja aspecto graso. Me lo aplico incluso para estar en la casa.
6) Loción limpiadora desmaquillante: este producto es fundamental ya que si no retiras por completo los residuos de maquillaje y sudor del rostro, aumenta la proliferación de bacterias que causan el acné, luego de utilizarlo lavo mi rostro con el jabón neutro.
5) Sunscreen: it is not specifically to treat acne but it is essential to protect your skin and also to stop this type of outbreaks. This sunscreen is very good because like the moisturizing gel it dries very fast and does not leave a greasy look. I apply it even when I'm at home.
6) Makeup remover cleansing lotion: this product is essential because if you do not completely remove makeup residue and sweat from the face, it increases the proliferation of bacteria that cause acne, after using it I wash my face with neutral soap.
Existen dos factores fundamentales para que el tratamiento sea efectivo; la constancia y la paciencia, como había mencionado anteriormente tengo un aproximado de 4 meses utilizándolo y mis cambios han sido muy drásticos, espero que te ayuden como fue en mi caso💜.
There are two fundamental factors for the treatment to be effective; constancy and patience, as I had mentioned before I have been using it for approximately 4 months and my changes have been very drastic, I hope they help you as it was in my case💜.
