Today I am with my friend yacmerys enjoying a succulent chicha la cua is a Venezuelan rice-based drink, and one of my favorite pastry shops in my city is Rumania, where they sell exquisite sweets and this drink does not escape from their specialties.
La chicha es una bebida espesa a base de arroz popular de mi país, aunque algunas personas la han preparado con otros ingredientes como de pasta, piña, yuca y otros vegetales. La chicha original es elabora de arroz, se pone a cocinar con una astilla de canela, hasta que quede muy flojo, luego se enfrie se licua, se añade leche y azúcar, vainilla y el tope que quieras como syrop de chocolate, leche condensada,arequipe y canela en polvo.
Chicha is a thick rice-based drink popular in my country, although some people have prepared it with other ingredients such as pasta, pineapple, cassava and other vegetables. The original chicha is made from rice, it is cooked with a cinnamon stick, until it is very weak, then it is cooled and liquefied, milk and sugar, vanilla and the topping you want as chocolate syrup, condensed milk, and cinnamon powder is added.
