Hi there! It's me - Jo. Wow, I missed doing this intro! Hello, Hivers! I know I've been MIA(missing in action)these past few months —so much has happened that really rocked my world. But, I'm back and here to share with all of you something that I do when I want to have a break from everything else.
Hive friends, what do you do when you want to pause that chaotic and busy life of yours? As for me, I decided to have a coloring/painting session by myself!
It's not a secret that I am fond of cats, which is why I immediately chose a canvas that features a cat in it. By the way, there are a lot of options for you to color with. Next, I readied the acrylic paints and my paintbrushes. As you can see, there are numbers indicated on the page, and that will be my guide in choosing what color I will apply to that certain part. This makes it easier for me because sometimes I space out in the middle of coloring, haha!
So, I started with all the numbers 1 and then proceeded to the higher numbers. You know, I find it relaxing to go back into coloring, although it seemed too child-like haha, but hey, choosing the colors sometimes is a bit stressful because, of course, you want to also bring out the harmony and achieve unity in your piece. More than that, there's just a sense of comfort in doing things like this.
And of course, we arrived at the most awaited subject - the cat! The color says it's black, and a fun fact, I also have a real black cat named Berry. Sadly, she already crossed the bridge several weeks ago (╯︵╰). Hence, this coloring session means so much to me. Afterwards, here's the final output! I decided to hang it on our wall since it's definitely a cute artwork to look at.
And this is one of the things I do to de-stress, what's yours, Hivers? I would be glad to read it in the comment section below!
See you in my next blog, Hive friends!❤️
