Mi nombre es Yalimar Espinoza y este es el segundo reporte situación de la paciente Yalilys Pérez (@yalilys) en su semana #2 recluída en el hospital por diagnóstico de neumonía aguda, a causa del #covid. Para conocer y entrar en contexto, aquí les dejo los dos posts: El de mi mamá informando su padecimiento, y el segundo, mío, informando sobre el estado de salud de la paciente en la primera semana:

Con el reporte de esta semana tenemos muy buenas noticias. La paciente presentó muchísima mejora. A continuación, una lista de todos los diagnósticos y mejoras que ha presentado el paciente a lo largo de sus dos semanas recluída:
With this week's report we have very good news. The patient showed a lot of improvement. Here is a list of all the diagnoses and improvements that the patient has presented throughout his two weeks in detention:
◘ Poco a poco se le ha ido retirando el oxígeno para acostumbrar y fortalecer los pulmones a no depender de ellos. Es un paso muy importante para la mejora progresiva del paciente.
Little by little the oxygen has been withdrawn to accustom and strengthen the lungs not to depend on them. It is a very important step for the progressive improvement of the patient.
◘ La paciente ya puede acostarse de lado, y no estar siempre boca abajo como les mostré en la primera publicación, ya que cuando el caso es muy grave, hay que tomar esta medida antes de que los pulmones empeoren.
The patient can now lie on her side, and not always be on her stomach as I showed you in the first publication, since when the case is very serious, this measure must be taken before the lungs get worse.
◘ El paciente en estas dos semanas no presentó síntomas de pérdida del apetito ni tampoco pérdida del olfato/gusto, lo cual es algo muy positivo entre todo lo malo, ya que hay reportes de pacientes que no quieren comer bajo ninguna circunstancia y hay que recurrir a colocarle solución salina mediante vía intravenosa para evitar deshidratación.
The patient in these two weeks did not present symptoms of loss of appetite or loss of smell / taste, which is something very positive among all the bad things, since there are reports of patients who do not want to eat under any circumstances and it is necessary to resort to give you saline solution through an IV to avoid dehydration.
◘ Mediante la utilización de recursos obtenidos mediante las recompensas en la primera publicación que se hizo (Revisar arriba en la publicación), se compró DE EMERGENCIA un Oxímetro de Pulso, para vigilar constantemente la oxigenación de la sangre en la paciente, y el cual tuvo un costo de $20 dólares americanos al cambio en bolívares soberanos, aproximadamente 67.000.000,00 Bs.S a la fecha de la compra.

◘ Ya la paciente puede ir al baño sin ningún problemas, no presentó problemas para defecar ni orinar en estas dos semanas, y además, la estabilidad de la saturación de oxígeno no disminuye ahora (Antes sucedía esto muy frecuente).

◘ Ahora, la paciente puede hablar sin muchas complicaciones, reir, sentarse y comer por sí misma sin utilizar en intérvalos intermedios de tiempo el suplemento del oxígeno, pues anteriormente esto no era posible ya que al retirar la mascarilla de oxígeno, la paciente tendía a presentar problemas para respirar, obligando a colocarse nuevamente la mascarilla en menos de 5 minutos.
Now, the patient can speak without many complications, laugh, sit and eat by herself without using the oxygen supplement in intermediate intervals of time, since previously this was not possible since when removing the oxygen mask, the patient tended to present breathing problems, forcing the mask to be put back on in less than 5 minutes.
◘ Si ella continúa mejorando, para la semana que viene ya la tendremos en nuestra casa sin necesidad de utilizar una bombona de oxígeno, ya que como les mencioné con anterioridad, hay que entrenar a los pulmones para que éstos vuelvan a ser independientes de una mascarilla de oxígeno.

La señora a continuación se llama Cármen Ribas, paciente de 72 años recluída por la misma enfermedad de todos ellos. Al momento del ingreso de mi mamá, Yalilys Pérez, ésta abuelita tenía aproximadamente 5 días luchando contra la enfermedad y logró superarla como una guerrera, el único problema es que la señora empezó a presentar hipertensión severa y no se podía dar de alta en esa condición, pues podría sufrir un paro cardíaco al intentar ejercer algún movimiento físico tan simple como caminar. Se le hizo vigilancia durante varios días (15 días desde su ingreso por primera vez) hasta que la presión estabilizara y ella pudiera irse a su casa. Pues, hace dos días llegó el momento y aquí las fotos de la señora, mientras se iba todos aplaudían su victoria:
