Why do we enforce our beliefs on others knowing fully well it is wrong, but we look for a hundred reasons to make it sound right using statements like “I want you to be the best you can be” or “I just want the best for you”.

A lot of people have lost their individuality because they were trying to fit into everyone’s perspective of them.
Let’s assume that am a lady that decided thatI don’t want too much attention on my appearance, then I would be labelled Dowdy or Gay (but not as a sexuality but as an insult), well I guess I should dress nice and look pretty, then I begin to hear “she’s vain”, “she’s a slut” or “she is proud”.
What if am a guy that prefer to have a small circle of friends, then am being Antisocial, okay let me social and have lots of friends, then am “irresponsible, jobless or a friend freak”.
When am slim am being told am a bag of bones, why don’t I add some flesh to that bone, surprisingly I added weight, then I begin to hear words like “oh, you really need to go on a diet cause you are losing shape”.
We must come to the realisation that we are different from one another, we are unique in our own way.
We live in a confused world doesn’t mean we should end up being confused about our individuality.
Do whatever you are comfortable with and live a happy life that is free of regrets, that is the best gift we can give to our self.
