El final del arcoíris es un tema lleno de misterio y fantasía que ha cautivado la imaginación de muchas personas. Según la tradición popular, se cree que al encontrar el final del arcoíris, se puede encontrar un tesoro escondido.

The end of the rainbow is a subject full of mystery and fantasy that has captured the imagination of many people. Por lo menos en mi caso, siempre crei que habian unos pequeños duendes vestidos de verde con muchas ollas llenas de monedas de oro al final del arcoiris, en un bosque repleto de tréboles de 4 hojas. No se muy bien de donde salio esa idea, pero era la creencia que tenia cuando era niña.
At least in my case, I always believed that there were little elves dressed in green with many pots full of gold coins at the end of the rainbow, in a forest full of four-leaf clovers. I don't really know where that idea came from, but it was the belief I had as a child.
Hace mucho tiempo no veia un arcoiris tan perfecto como este, claro esta que la camara de mi teléfono no le hace justicia. Pero era simplemente hermoso, lo percibí bastante cerca, tanto que recorde lo que pensaba de niña, que podia llegar al final de este y descubrir lo que hay al final. Fue bueno tener esa sensación de volver atras y admirar con alegría infantil esta obra de la naturaleza. Sin embargo, desde un punto de vista científico, el arcoíris es un fenómeno óptico que ocurre debido a la refracción y reflexión de la luz en las gotas de agua suspendidas en el aire. A diferencia de un objeto físico, el arcoíris es una ilusión óptica y no tiene un punto concreto de inicio o final.
Debido a que la posición del observador y las condiciones atmosféricas varían, cada persona puede ver un arcoíris desde ángulos diferentes, lo que hace que el final del arcoíris sea algo subjetivo y personal. Además, el arcoíris es un fenómeno efímero y su ubicación cambia constantemente a medida que el sol se mueve y las nubes se desplazan.
Aún asi, me parece que no hace daño creer en un tesoro al final del arcoiris, tener algo de magia en nuestra vida cada vez que veamos uno.
It's been a long time since I saw a rainbow as perfect as this one, of course the camera on my phone doesn't do it justice. But it was simply beautiful, I felt it quite close, so close that I remembered what I thought as a child, that I could get to the end of it and discover what is at the end. A pesar de que encontrar un tesoro en el final del arcoíris es solo una leyenda, el verdadero tesoro se encuentra en la belleza y la maravilla que nos trae este increíble fenómeno natural. Although finding treasure at the end of the rainbow is just a legend, the real treasure lies in the beauty and wonder that this incredible natural phenomenon brings.
