Hello, fellow members of the Colour / Black&White Community!
Today, I want to share with you some images I captured on a recent trip to Weh Island. The scene was a peaceful intersection, with lush trees lining the roadside and few people crossing the road on their motorcycles.
It has just finished raining, so there are still some visible water puddles on the road. I love the composition of the view, and I couldn't help but snap a few photos.
I love how the black-and-white color scheme simplifies the image and brings out the contrasts in the scene. The deep blacks of the trees provide a sense of grounding and tranquility, while the bright whites add a sense of serenity to the image. The reflective water puddles add a new dimension to the image, drawing my attention to the road and the people crossing it. The people crossing the road add a touch of liveliness to the scene, reminding me that amidst the peacefulness, real people are going about their lives.
