Hallo liebe Community
Heute war ich wieder mit einem guten Freund am Rhein Gold waschen. Wir sind wieder an die gleiche Stelle wie in meinem letzten Beitrag gefahren, doch diesmal hatte ich meine selbstgebaute Waschanlage dabei, um ein wenig mehr Material zu verarbeiten. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, auch wenn das Wetter nicht so toll war. Der ausführliche Bericht über das Goldwaschen folgt in Kürze.

Today I went gold washing
again with a good friend on the Rhine.
We went to the same place as in my
last post, but this time I had my self-built washing system with
me to process a little more material. We had a great time, even if the weather wasn't that great. The detailed report on the gold panning will follow shortly.
Im Nachgang habe ich das Goldwaschen genutzt und gleichzeitig etwas Müll vom Rheinufer entfernt, um die Clean the Planet Community ein wenig zu unterstützen. Allerdings haben wir den ganzen Tag bis etwa 18 Uhr gewaschen und den Müll habe ich mir für den Schluss aufgehoben.
Afterwards, I used the gold
panning and at the same time removed
some garbage from the banks of the
Rhine to support the Clean Planet community a little.
However, we panned all day until about 6pm and I saved the garbage for last.
Wie man auf den Bildern sehen kann, lag am Ufer eine Menge herum, das ich einsammeln konnte. Das Gute war, dass ich, auch wenn ich eine Tüte vergessen hatte, ich zwischendurch jedoch was zu essen gekauft habe für uns, wo ich eine bekam. Die Tüte vom Essen habe ich dann genommen, um den Müll anschließend ordentlich zu entsorgen. Leider zog es sich sehr schnell zu und fing leicht an zu regnen, nachdem ich meine Goldwaschausrüstung weggeräumt hatte. Es blieb nicht viel Zeit, bis der starke Regen einsetzte, ich habe schnell noch den Müll eingesammelt. Um ihn dann zum Mullcontainer zu bringen.
As you can see from the pictures,
there was a lot lying around on the shore that I was able to collect. The good thing was that even though I had forgotten a bag, I bought something to eat for us in between, where I got one.
I then took the bag of food to dispose of the garbage properly afterwards. Unfortunately, it quickly became overcast and started to rain lightly after I had put away my gold panning equipment.
There wasn't much time before the heavy rain started, so I quickly collected the garbage. I then took it to the rubbish container.
Der Starkregen setzte schneller und heftiger ein als erwartet und wir mussten zurück zum Auto sprinten, da mein Kollege Oli dachte, es würde nicht mehr aufhören. Ich wollte noch abwarten, bis der Regen ein wenig nach ließ. Aber er lief einfach mit meiner Schubkarre los und ich packte mir einen Rucksack, die Tüte mit dem Müll und dem restlichen Essen und folgte ihm.
The heavy rain came down faster
and harder than expected and we had to sprint back to the car as my colleague Oli thought it wouldn't stop.
I wanted to wait for the rain to let up a little.
But he just ran off with my wheelbarrow and I grabbed a rucksack, the bag of garbage and the rest of the food and followed him.
Kurz vor dem Auto habe ich dann den Müll im Dauerregen entsorgt, aber auch wenn ich komplett nass war, hat es sich gelohnt, die Tute war ja voll. Ich hoffe, ich konnte mit dem kleinen bisschen, was ich mit genommen hab, mein Beitrag leisten, dass das Rheinufer wieder ein wenig sauberer ist.

Just before the car, I disposed of the garbage in the constant rain, but even though I was completely soaked, it was worth it as the bag was full.
I hope I was able to do my bit to make the banks of the Rhine a little cleaner again with the little bit I took with me.
