Our Thursday Trash Hunting walk took us to the Neckar valley today. It is a beautiful scenery, well when everything starts to blossom even more. You can walk around small trails next to the slope and enjoy a nice view on the river Neckar.
At least for now, when there are not as many tourists around. On the weekends and when the weather gets nicer it is rather crowded there.

But as always the topic is trash hunting and yes, you do find our remains everywhere. Even in a so called Nature Park, which stands for recreation and an intact environment.

First I found plastic trash bags buried in the ground. They were big and filled up my small bag right at the beginning, so that I could only pick up little stuff later on.

We kept walking and came to a weir with a lock. There are 27 of those along the river Neckar.

Making it all the way down so Joy could take a sip of water I made my next findings which I managed to get in the bag.

The area got flooded during winter time so besides debris you find all kinds of trash there. So my next task will be to start picking up some of it whenever I make it back there. This time my little bag was just filled up already.

On my way back to the car I made a last discovery that I could carry by hand. Some metal parts.

As you can see right next to a deer crossing. I found tracks close by. Animals can hurt themselves when getting trapped in it. I always wonder how all that trash ends up in these areas?

Last but not least it all ended up in our trash bin at home. Hopefully it will not be shipped to other places in the world in this vicious cycle of trash selling. Let's all just change our habits a little bit to avoid the further pollution of our planet.

Hope to see you next time too. Let's all make a difference!
To @appreciator we need appreciation for the planet and @upmewhale the ocean is a whales foundation and a lot of trash ends up there, let's just bring that topic to life.
