Hello, my sweet friends in the @cleanplanet community I hope we are doing well today. Today is another day and I have to embark on my cleaning activity. This day, I have a lot of loads on my head, and trying to balance my blogging schedule with my school runs is a mountain I have to move to now.
Today, I cleaned from my house to my street. My wastebasket is one of the things I make sure is always clean in the house. I don't let my basket fill up before having to get it disposed of.
After picking up my glove and the basket, I left the house out of my gate to the street. My street from my gate looked tattered. I engaged myself in picking up each of the wastes and properly putting them into the basket.
I was surprised to see plastic bottles and I am sure the hunters hadn't come across them before I did.
I picked the wraps until the basket was full. The major garbage littered around were biscuits, sachet water and processed cereal wraps. I can't guess where these wastes came from.
Since I already planned on burning the waste from the house, I decided to join it with the ones I picked since they are all burnable.
After my picking exercise, the place looked entirely good and different.
I engaged in burning the waste and at the beginning, it seemed the fire wasn't going to catch up since I didn't apply any fuel.
I was glad as the fire caught up later and the whole waste was burned to ashes.
It feels great whenever one engages in activities to keep one's surroundings clean.
After burning the garbage, I went inside my compound and washed the basket and gloves. I placed them under the sun to dry and later returned them to their usual and proper positions.
Thank you all for visiting my post and for the encouragement to do more. Thanks so much, @cleanplanet, @solarisfuture, @cleanyourcity, and @resonator for your unending support.
