Woke up to a cheerful Sunday morning today, with not much planned except for attending my Christian meeting. It almost didn’t happen though, thanks to the heavy October rain. One minute, the sky was clear, and the next, it was pouring. Somehow, I made it through the downpour and got to the meeting, which felt good to attend despite the weather.
After that, I decided to visit my cousin, who’s been really sick lately. It’s been a tough time for him, with so much money spent on treatments, but thankfully, he’s starting to get better. Seeing him improve was really refreshing, and we spent some time talking. It felt like a small victory, and I’m really hopeful for his recovery.
The moment I got home and rested a little bit, I went out to pick up trash along my street. It’s something I’ve been trying to make a regular part of my routine. A little effort to clean up the environment goes a long way, and it’s a good feeling knowing I’m helping keep the neighborhood in better shape. It’s a simple way of showing care for the planet.
