Happy new month to everyone @cleanplanet community. It's with great delight i joined and make my first post here. I commend @nwothini335 for this initiative and i am excited to participate in this #cleanplanet writing prompt where i will be writing on how last month of June was for me and my plans for this new month unto better days ahead.
RECAP OF LAST MONTH FOR ME
One activity i really enjoyed last month was the time i engage with anything that has to do with music. As someone who is passionate about music and also engages with it as an instrumentalist (a keyboardist), i enjoyed those moments of rearshals and also recordings i.e. production for that of HIVE platform as i participated in the various music prompts and contests. I am glad to even compose original piece inline with the theme for some of the community and the comments i received were an encouragement to me.
Also, last month i participated in one of the things i loved doing which is a medical outreach especially in a rural area. I remembered i have been actively participating in this right from my undergraduate days some years ago and by this we reach out to people in the rural areas and meet their health needs. This helped me to appreciate the beauty of my profession and to contribute my quota to the healthcare development of my country.
In addition, as we are now in raining season and the weeds grow around the house which can be an abode for mosquitoes to breed, i engaged in a compound cleaning activity to clear my surroundings and made it tidy. As i initiated this, some of my neighbors also joined and i received a commendation for this initiative. I was glad i did this which i believe has numerous benefits to the advantage of all.
MY PLANS FOR THIS NEW MONTH OF JULY
This month of July 2024, i plan to attend the Annual National Conference of we the community pharmacists where i will be able to connect with colleagues from different parts of my country and participate actively even as i learn new developments and updates. I really look forward to this conference been my first.
As regards my music prowess, i plan to improve on my singing dexterity as a follow-up to a suggestion on one of the music community on Hive platform i participated in last month. Also, i plan to improve on my reading culture as i have some books to be read and covered before this new month ends. Hence, to achieve this, a consistent daily reading schedule is initiated and to be followed duely.
Also, this month i planned to engaged in a massive in-house cleaning, rearrangement and a bit of fumigation using an insecticide. This i believe will help me to stay healthy as good healthy living is key to efficiency and productivity in life. For effectiveness sake, i planned to have a different approach this month by leveraging more on my nocturnal ability and hence, accomplishing some targets midnight or early in the morning compared to how i did it last month during the day which isn't really helpful as i wish.
