Today I engaged in the "clean the planet" activity late because my surroundings were clean in the morning, but during the evening hours, I saw trash all around, so I grabbed a bag and started picking it up. It’s always like I'm waiting for people around to mess up the surroundings so that I clean up. I just can't believe that no matter how long they see me picking up trash, they will still dispose of it inappropriately. Some people felt that I don't have a job, which is why I'm picking trash and taking pictures of it. I'm thankful to the "clean the planet" community for initiating the whole clean the planet activity.
The "clean the planet" community has shaped my mind and thinking on cleaning. Ever since I was introduced to the "clean the planet" community by @marajah, I pay more attention to my surroundings. It makes me uncomfortable if I see trash around or if I see trash disposed of wrongly. It's just like taking a pill when sick—I feel much better when trash is kept where it’s supposed to be and properly bagged. The planet will be clean and safe if everyone has the same mindset about properly disposing of trash. I once picked up some trash in a particular area, and the next day, the whole place was well arranged, and the bushes were clean.
