I went to check on my little corn farm today, and I couldn’t believe my eyes, the entire place was already overrun with weeds! 😓 Sometimes I wonder if the weeds grow faster than the corn!
Farming , especially traditional or subsistence farming, isn’t just hard work. It’s a battle against nature itself.
Okay guys! Here are a few of the many “Pains of Farming” that farmers deal with every day:
🔪 Weeding – Backbreaking work that never seems to end. Weeds grow like they’re on steroids!
🪓 Clearing land – If you’ve ever tried cutting grass or felling a tree with a blunt cutlass, you know it’s no joke.
🌱 Planting – All that bending and digging in the hot sun? Your body will feel it the next day.
💧 Watering – Especially in areas without irrigation. Carrying buckets of water back and forth can drain every bit of energy.
🐛 Pest Control – Fighting off insects, birds, and diseases, sometimes with bare hands or basic tools.
🛻 Transporting produce – No tractors. No fancy trucks. Just you, the harvest, and your strength.
And yes… I’m about to grab my cutlass and get to work. Because even though it’s hard, there’s something deeply satisfying about growing your own food. 💪🌽
To all farmers out there, I see you. I respect you.
Thanks for visiting!
Much Love.
