The leaf is a fern leaf or with another name, Davallia solida. This plant is a type of weed because the plant sticks to the trunk of the oil palm tree. For farmers, this plant is very disliked because the life of the fern that sticks to the tree trunk, especially on the "stem" of the mustard greens attracts the nutrients needed by the oil palm tree, so that it can cause a lack of nutrients caused by the fern.
Ferns attached to oil palm trunks can compete with the oil palm for the nutrients and nutrients needed by the oil palm, causing the oil palm trees to become malnourished due to the ferns.
Therefore, some farmers choose to spray with a special weed killer at the correct dosage.
