There are a lot of stages that you need to take and observe carefully when you are going into crop production. The crop production is also a good determination of which of the plant you are at your own best to plant and cultivate. That is why cultivation of crops is not only for those that seems to be capable alone but for those who are ready to observe each growing stages at a time. Practically speaking it is not a very easy task because when you plant your crop right from the seed stage. You need to prepare your agricultural Farmland in such a way that it will boost what you are planted for a couple of weeks in terms of nursery section.
This nursery section is a place where you can monitor your seed ling right from the seed stage and it is an open avenue because even when you are not present in your farm physically you can assign people to help you look out for them such a way that it will assist your seedlings to grow daily and weekly. This is when the record keeping comes in. As soon as you keep your records intact then your farm is close to a very good rate.
When you do not assign people to keep your records intact but yet you are zoom what is going on on your farm then there will be much more problem coming up. When it comes to planting of seed just like in the case of eggplant. Just like we all know that the eggplants has a lot of similarities and differences. In west African Nigeria we have close to three to four types of eggplants alone. Which may be different from one specie to another ranging from one country to another as well. So when you want to plant the seed from any type of eggplant you need to really identify which of the specie you are planting and why? I took some pictures of the white eggplant from the nursery section while I was also demonstrating how to partially or put the seedlings from the parents stock.
- This is how to uproot or transplant the white eggplant mainly as shown in the pictures. the first thing you need to do is to ensure that there are more healthy soil surrounding the plant in the visually before you start to slice it up and divide it then you gently pull it out.
The white eggplant are very active in as much as you have a very good and healthy seed. When you spread them on the soil surface, they will start to sprout out after the 7-day. Making it a very quick one if you also prepare a very good and nutrient field agricultural soil.
When it starts to germinate it will first of all sprout out uniformly and that is when you will know that yes what you have planted seven days ago is positive. When you observe that what you have cultivated did not germinate at all after 7 days or 7 to 10 days then you go back to your drawing board and trace your steps backward. This will also show you where the fault may arise. But when it is positive you are 98% successful at the early stage.
The plant always showcase traces of attractiveness of insects even at their early stage. I know that it may seems normal but for some other crops or green vegetables till they reach their maturity stage you will never see any traces of insect or egg laid down on the surface of the plant. But for the white eggplant you need to fight a lot of battle at the early stage as well. Is some cases you may use the Neem juice, or the Ash method to eradicate the every 4 days.
You must also ensure that even when you are eradicating weed from the bottom region of the nursery section. You also need to add additional soil to boost the already germinated crops, so that it can also go far in moisturizing and keeping them alive till the transplanting period.
When you want to do this you must try as much as possible to pass through the nursery section because you have a lot to record and to observe carefully or else if you think that you can handle it without planting the seed inside the nursery section before transplanting it then you are doing excellently well. But I will suggest that for easy access and for record keeping you go through the easiest way which is planting of seed using the nursery section.
