In agriculture like I always say and also emphasize that planting of seed has its own timing. If your time is accurate in agriculture you have less problem or already half sloved problem. But when you decide on your own for that whenever you have the seed is when you will get into the farm and cultivate it. I can assure you that it is just a practical experiment which is of 50/50 chances. But when it is time for rainy season and you have your rainy season at it peak, you must get into work and utilize the moment. But when you are busy sleeping while others are already at work then you maybe lacking behind as a farmer. So you need to decide quickly which of the seed you need to buy, store and cultivate quickly so that it will utilize the benefit of the rainy season or the dry season. When I visited my in-law what happened to be a farmer as well. Although she has been a farmer ever since she was also Young and she also practiced it up till this present time but due to old age, she can just practice few of farming activities which I mean crop production and raining of some few animals like local chicken. As soon as I got there she introduced me to some new seeds which I also collected. I collected the tomato seed and the melon seed.
I posted the melon seed planting some few days ago,for those of us who do not know how the seed looks like, I will also bring out the pictures for us here down below.
- This is how the melon seed looks like although when it go up late very similar to watermelon plant. So if care is not taking we will actually take melon for watermelon plants physically.
This was when I planted it 15 days ago. And now the result of the planting is out. Which I also took the pictures down below.
The first thing I noticed was that even when it started going up there was a lot of disturbance within me because it took more than expected time to germinate. I thought it was all gone. But I later left them inside this soil for some days more.
This was why I intentionally planted them ( the melon seed) in different places and location of the agricultural Farmland.
You can see that even in the pictures, the melon seed has been eaten up by insect. I guess it is because The plant is very succulent. when its in seedlings stages. And also it is insect plant. This is what I mean, no matter how careful you are insects 🐝🦋🐝 and other animals we pay it 🌿☘️🌱 visit.
I've also called my in-law to come and take a look at the new development on the farm. I know that she will always have some home remedy that I can use for this upcoming insects eaten up the new melon🍈🍈 seedlings.
