If you skip a routine per day, it will affect your animals.
Feeding must also the regular and also must be daily. I met a lot of people with discussion which says you can feed your animals daily so it can be in the afternoon or late in the evening. But I can assure you that when you do this it will affect the growth and development of your animal even as for human being as well. You need to concentrate on breakfast, lunch and dinner in order to have a very sound,good and healthy lifestyle.
