Já adianto que pegar uma ou outra característica específica de um influencer que se encaixe em alguma característica abaixo não o torna, necessariamente, um picareta. Porém, analisando o contexto, é possível identificar características que são comuns em grande parte desses trapaceiros.
Dinheiro fácil
Vamos começar pela principal característica: dinheiro fácil. Trapaceiros amam oferecer dinheiro fácil, e o motivo é que a ambição e o medo, que são dois dos maiores impulsionadores da vontade humana, podem ser despertados usando a proposta do dinheiro fácil, ao contrário de cursos profissionalizantes ou de idiomas, onde é necessário realmente analisar com cuidado e alocar uma quantidade significativa de tempo e esforço para se ter resultado.
Mais esperto que o mercado e mais sortudo que a mesa
Em suas propagandas, esses gurus ostentam carros de luxo, celulares caros, resultados de 400% em operações binárias em apenas 20 segundos e triplicando dinheiro em jogos de azar na internet. Após um influencer se consolidar como “guru cripto” ou “barão do Bitcoin”, sua autoridade passa a ser confirmada por pessoas que confiam nele, e as pessoas passam a confiar nele por ele ter a autoridade confirmada por outras pessoas que também confiam nele. Isso se torna um ciclo vicioso, onde mais pessoas passam a confiar nele somente porque já existem pessoas confiando nele. Muitos picaretas profissionais chamam isso de a capa do mago, porque, depois de um mago aparecer com sua capa e suas bugigangas, as pessoas passam a acreditar muito mais em sua autoridade do que acreditariam em uma situação comum com ele falando sua opinião sincera sobre o assunto. Lucros sobre prejuízos
Uma coisa muito interessante é que muitos desses gurus lucram com prejuízo alheio, e de diversas formas, sendo as mais conhecidas as operações binárias, o marketing multinível e o aconselhamento pago.
Nas opções binárias existe um aplicativo de celular (que não vou revelar o nome para não me render um processinho por danos morais, mas você provavelmente sabe de qual eu estou falando) que dá uma porcentagem do prejuízo das pessoas que entraram através de seu link de afiliado. Exatamente: você chama pessoas para dentro do aplicativo, elas tem prejuízo e você vai ganhar uma porcentagem desse prejuízo. Muitos desses “gurus” das opções binárias ainda conseguem lucrar três vezes ou mais no processo, vendendo um curso de operação da plataforma, usando o link de afiliados e com o vídeo no YouTube onde falam sobre como eles ganharam dinheiro com a plataforma. É ou não é o cúmulo da picaretagem?
O marketing multinível, ou, como eu gosto de chamar, o “esquema de pirâmide socialmente aceito”, é um esquema onde você possui um produto, chama alguns amigos para venderem, e recebe uma porcentagem do que seus amigos venderem e do que as pessoas que seus amigos indicaram venderam, então, quando a pirâmide está prestes a cair, você foge com o dinheiro e deixa seus “afiliados” arcarem com o prejuízo e com os estoques de produto vagabundo da China. Assim como no esquema anterior, você pode lucrar mais de uma vez, vendendo um curso de como operar, vendendo os produtos para seus afiliados venderem, vendendo ações da sua empresa (e sim, tem negócios grandes com esquemas parecidos), ganhando com adsense do site e do YouTube e ganhando até mesmo vendendo ferramentas para aumentar as vendas, como um “script de vendas para bots” ou produtos de propaganda para seus produtos.
O aconselhamento pago é uma prática antiga, sendo muito usada em igrejas picaretas, onde você manipula o sujeito para que ele gaste dinheiro de uma forma errônea, fazendo com que você ganhe uma parcela no processo, fora o dinheiro que ele já iria te pagar por causa do conselho que ele te vendeu. Um exemplo é a venda de cursos de investimento onde a plataforma de investimentos pertence ao instrutor, ou cursos de manutenção de máquinas onde as únicas fabricantes das máquinas consertadas pertencem ao instrutor. Embora o aconselhamento pago não seja por si só uma picaretagem, é importante entender o conceito e como podem tentar te prejudicar com isso para que você não seja feito de trouxa.
A luz no fim do túnel
Sensação de urgência, ou o famoso “essa oferta só é válida até segunda-feira”, é uma das ferramentas mais usadas por esses gurus para poderem te forçar a comprar o cursinho deles, ou o produto deles. Esse processo se divide em três partes, uma onde ele exagera as qualidades de seu produto, falando sobre como ele é maravilhoso e salvou a carreira e a saúde financeira de milhares de pessoas, a segunda (a única opcional entre as três etapas) onde é apresentado um desconto de 90% do produto, enfatizando o quão grande esse desconto é, e uma terceira etapa onde é estipulada uma data limite, e onde, passada essa data, o produto não estará mais disponível.
Claro que nem todas as vezes que isso acontece é por causa de alguma picaretagem. Existem casos, como cursos com correção de atividades e resolução de dúvidas de alunos, onde ter uma quantia muito grande de alunos pode impossibilitar a correção, porém é importante prestar atenção nesses detalhes.
Conclusão
Não estou dizendo que todos os supostos gurus que estão por aí na internet são trapaceiros, mas é importante ter um conhecimento básico sobre o modus operandi desses falsos sábios para não acabar fazendo papel de trouxa dando dinheiro para algum picareta aleatório com conhecimento em engenharia social.
