"How are you enjoying your evening at the work event?"
"I should be enjoying the party but I can't stop thinking about the post I haven't written for the Dreemport challenge"
That's the summary of the conversation between my partner and I before I started writing this post. I don't feel like it's worth it to pass up writing my post for a challenge I've been involved in just for a one-time party (I wouldn't be here if I could help it).
Let's get right into the report for week 3. In my post last week I said I haven't experienced any challenge. Well, I spoke too soon because I can't explain what happened this week! It's started great, right, along the way it got hectic. When I say along the way I mean the second day in! Another thing, I failed to encourage anyone this week and I sincerely apologize. I promise I can do better🥺🥺
There were some changes in the chart for this week and I did manage to keep up with some of them. Let's start with the first.
40 oz of water: Water is always the easiest part for me. I drink a lot each day. It was quite easy meeting this goal since I already do more than that each day.
Quiet time: This was extended to 10mins. I still do my daily morning prayer and all but for this week I took 10 minutes to rest my head after work and be grateful for everything. Sometimes I listen to brown noise, it relaxes me.
20mins personal goal: I do this for hours every day, so I think I have that one covered.
25mins physical activity: I try to do at least 30mins daily.
Personal goal: I covered this.
Every other thing on the list is where I flopped in one way or the other. My week started great as I said earlier. Monday came, although busy, I was able to meet all my goals and that's usually the highlight of my day.
Tuesday came and everything took a drastic turn. All of a sudden everyone wanted to renew policies and I would say I had to deal with some impatient folk this week because I can't explain their behaviour. This went on till the end of the week.
Today is Friday and I would have loved to be in my bed and embracing the warmth of my pillow but here I am in an event with heavy eyes and tired back. However, in the spirit of always being grateful, I'm thankful for the week and how it went and I'm especially happy for the weekend that comes with the opportunity for me to breathe.
I would like to thank @nonsowrites for helping me edit this image.
That's a summary of my week. It's late into the night over here, I hope to post this before the deadline.
Thanks for stopping by❤
