Some of you may have noticed more significant rewards on your posts recently, this is likely because of a specific change that happened over the past few days.
With increasing members providing content, there is a rising need for curation efforts to give people the attention and rewards they deserve. Spreading the votes out to all is never a simple task, and it often requires time and willpower to do a decent job of it (this is why autovoting becomes attractive).

One approach for automating your vote is achieved by following a curation trail. By joining a trail, you'll automatically follow behind someone else's vote and leave your own at a set percentage.
This method differs from the regular autovote (where you automatically vote on someone's content when they publish) because it can be set up with manual curation in mind. If the person leading the trail doesn't autovote anyone, all of the trail followers behind will assist the manual curation with their vote. In essence, putting their trust in the lead voters judgement.
The burning question, does this conflict with the Proof Of Brain concept?

Back to the beginning;
Some of you may have noticed more significant rewards on your posts recently, this is likely because of a specific change that happened over the past few days.
Some of the platforms larger stakeholders have joined my curation trail and set their voting percentages at around 50%. This has caused my upvote to be followed by some beefier ones.

Their joining of the curation trail is experimental and subject to change.
For the time being it's boosting reward distribution as long as my curation efforts stay focused on finding a range of content across the platform (I exclusively vote on the POB front-end within the main tag).

There are potential issues that arise from this setup and obvious dilemmas that can be pointed out. Everyone should consider the pros and cons of this as it affects the whole platform. Due to the experimental nature of the trail, it seems like a good move to get the feedback sooner rather than later.
Feel free to share any thoughts below in the form of a comment. I hope the discussion will help present and future curation efforts here in the community.
My posts have been a bit serious as of late with not much flavour. I have noticed.
I've been looking to get my bizarre post out which would have been a bit more fun (wacky and different) but this came first as it's quite an important matter.
This weeks posts for WOTW have been wonderful though, even if the zero engagement is mildly depressing. Crazy how it has affected my mood.
Don't forget to write your post for this week's POB Word of the Week!
There is 1500 POB (liquid) up for grabs. That's about 2025 HIVE at today's current price.
