I gave it some thought why a lot of people set up goals, but fail to achieve them and I believe it can be broken down and explained like the way compound interest work.
A lot of peoples New Years Resolutions (Goals) is to drop 40 pound or something like that. Now thats a good Goal, you can actively work towards that, but a lot of people fail in the process of achieving this goal.
Take a look at these stats:
Why?
Because they just go for it without a plan, a written down plan, and just think they will wing it. Mostly people don't just wing it.
Mostly people wouls benefit to break down their goals.
So 40 pound lost in total.
Well, how fast will you want to lose it? 3 months? 6 months?
Thats 3.3333 pound a week or 1.666 pound a week, depending om the lenth of your goal.
Thats much easier to obtain and keep it mind since you can see it constantly.
But diet also plays a big role when it comes to losing weight.
All I say, is that breaking down the goal woumd benefit everybody insanely much. I am activily working on breaking down my own goals and ideas.
Eg. I want to draw an hour a day. So from 7 - 8 pm, I will draw. Thats my drawing time. My goal is to become a digital artist.
I am currently trying to figure out how to start a NGO and I am looking for people who have done, so I can contact them and ask about how they got started.
