We often neglect doing our duties because of laziness, and then, we defer them to some future time. This has severe consequences.
We lose precious time, ruin our careers, blow opportunities, end up not meeting our goals, lower our self-esteem, make poor decisions and even damage our reputation when we procrastinate. We shouldn't forget that procrastination also affect our health both mentally, spiritually and physically.
Benjamin Franklin said;
"You may delay, but time will not, and lost time is never found again."

Time waits for no man. You may delay, but time will not. We only have little or no time at our disposal and every minute we waste can never be regained. Remember time when lost, can never be regained.
TIPS ON OVERCOMING PROCRASTINATION
Set priorities with the right mindset.
Learn to split apart the task at hand into smaller parts.
Be realistic and don't sign up for more than you have time for.
Make a plan using calendar or your phone app. Give yourself mini deadlines for each step of the way.
Always remember the reason you are doing a task in the first place. This should make you motivated to get moving.
Stop making excuses.
Put your phone away if you really need to get things done. This will remove or minimize any form of noise or distractions.
Always learn to “Do it now!”

Procrastination is an adversary to success and we are all slaves to it. I believe after reading this, we will all wake up to the reality that procrastination does more harm than good, and then make a plan of action towards gaining our freedom from the enemy of success.
