I had the BEST time in this rest week. You know, when I used to build projects, I used to build them with a schedule that had the energy and joy driving 24/7! It was so fun! I didn't sleep - I was constantly going - I was achieving and exceeding my goals - I was high on life!

But as you know, this is just not sustainable and simply unhealthy. At some point, the crash will come. I knew this - but I drove full force TOWARDS that crash. Hitting that crash was a true wipeout that would lay me out for WEEKS! But in some ways, I convinced myself that I was earning that wipeout. So since I knew it was coming, I pushed harder in the GO GO GO time, and in essence, assured myself of a complete wipeout.

Self-fulfilling prophecy, right?

After a lot of trial, error, and balancing acts, I started to implement the "break". I'm sure this seems VERY funny to most people - that I would actually have to give myself permission to rest by literally blocking off spaces of time to take breaks without guilt - but, I did! hehe

Now as odd as this might seem - I wonder how many of you REALLY don't allow yourself that same break time? Time to rest, recuperate, and repair!

This is the reason DreemPort has weekends OFF. We can't control what our dreemers do on the weekend. They might be still pushing just as hard as they do during the week! But as far as our site, and our staff are concerned - we enjoy some rest! 😁

The same is true after our challenges. We take REST WEEKS. And I hope hope hope - that all you dreemers enjoyed this rest week!
