It has been raining for days here. This picture was taken on the way back home from visiting the city below. Most of which is covered in a pouring sheet of rain. I found this picture to be neat because it shows how halfway is divided by this curtain of rain.
The picture was was taken on a highway that runs just outside the city. It's the quickest way to get from the north and south side of the city. Otherwise goodluck with traffic.
Sure there is a troll wanting to get paid for using that road (toll booth), but the view is still nice and worth it to take it.
Here is another picture two days after, with no rain. Do note this isn't the entire city, there is more but is hiding behind the mountains on the left and right of it and behind it.
Yea I know, It's way off in the distance but my main focus was scenery overall. I love clouds and landscapes.

Anyways, this isn't the reason why I made this post.
What inspired me two write what is below is thanks to the recent Hardfork (HF) dubbed HF25.
A HardFork is simply a driver taking a decision to go left or right on the road when no other road is available. What lies beyond is a mystery but we have our travelled history and can use that to pretty much guess how this might take off. During the course of our previous forks we have seen and experienced new teachings. Much of the majority do not know code and many more still are only just beginning to join this ecosystem, and without a clue as to the shackled in chains history of the growth of this system.
I have been an outside observer deciding whether or not to join and well here I am. I hitched a ride on the back of the Queen but is this queen really on our side in the grand scheme of things?
I came across this recent post by @por500bolos speaking about a strange account that rose up in the midst of this storm.
I started to write and I felt instead a response post was more suitable and well here it is:

From the beginning I had my suspiciousness laid upon the DPoS system. I would check every now and then and see its progress. Not much progress at all.
I don't care if it has been years since stinc. I don't care that it may be a psi ops operation from the CIA (the more I dig into this theory the more plausible it seems). I don't care who has the most stake so long as the little guy gets his fair cut too.
Decentralized? What does that even mean anyways? Equal distribution of power? Where is that in Hive? Where was it in Steemit?
What other purpose could a rich man have other than to help the poor?
Where are the pirates that believed in all for one and one for all? I want to tell them how stupid that mantra sounds in this DPoS system.
There is an elitist mindset within the punch bowl of Hive and is spreading his turd sandwich in every direction.
I had my suspicion that there were to be a glitch to enable stealing the rewards of those that either curate or of the author in some way. Every Hardfork had something fishy about it.
Whether it was an accidental glitch or purposely put there is beyond me, but there lies the fact that someone in the dev circle knew and said nothing. How many of the devs knew about this and said nothing to the public?

Desperate people are prisoners of their own demise. Of course people are going to notice. Of course people are going to see the scams of HIVE. Every start this platform has had, has had shady beginnings and foundations laid over loose sand. It's the reason why I don't vote for the current top 20 witnesses in present moment. I just don't trust them.
The majority of the people here do not care about the voting of witnesses either. They just vote for what is popular or vote a proxy that does just that anyways. The importance of voting for witnesses is hardly talked about.
When it is, it is only talked about their "job" and responsibilities to read the blocks and run the nodes to make hive connections smooth and stay running etc etc. But they don't mention the extra quirks of benefits that come with it. They don't mention the power they have over this system. Nor do they mention their circle jerk of "friends" off the platform.
To me there is no friends in this world. Just people behaving friendly to some more than others. Be friendly to thyself above all. In most cases people do not really know what real friend|ship actually is.
Forget about the classes of people we have here. In the blockchain apart from the monetization embedding software, we have freedom of speech that can't be destroyed. Even despite the shadow ban from the front end, everything is still on the chain.
They can try to hide their moves with shadow banning and try to steer people from looking beyond that but there is just too many curious cats put there looking for the rats to be exposed.
All it would take is a small hacker group to pick up wind of this and fully expose it to the core.
Let me digress from this and go backwards a bit,...
The poli-tick-os of Hive are the devs and whales pushing and deciding what is "IN" and what is "OUT".
A freethinker isn't going to like it but it's a factor we must deal with and learn to coexist with. The system is what it is as it is now and we must learn to stay afloat or learn how to drown. Either way the water is still nice enough to speak their own truth. Even if 99% (or 1% but with a strong HP stake) of the population of hive disagrees and votes your fake rep points down, you can still curate, post, talk, etc. All of which is still on the blockchain for as long as there is a minimum of two computer servers talking to each other keeping the blockchain alive. lol good luck with that after the sun goes nova.
IMO it is better to engrave in rock our history than to have it saved onto the chain. One is more bound to outlast the other for sure.
Ancient Egyptian carvings show us that airplanes and helicopters existed. Ancient Summer reveals rockets with oxygen masks. Why didn't they have blockchain technology? I think they did. And what outlasted and showed? not some plastic container box running codes back and forth thats for sure.
But here we are now.
We have the chain. It exists now if it never did in the past (nothing new under the sun). It's working towards the favor or spreading information valid to our growth as a whole. The internet is our double edge sword. Sure we can use it to pass information of our history but to believe it will be permanent is a fallacy I will always laugh at.
History has shown that he who controls his present and future is the one that writes his history. But what about the ones that writes to control the present and future of everyone else?
What about the devs that write the codes of our beloved Hive that stincs something rotten underneath?
How many are really honest apart from their say-so and the say-so of the masses. Honesty based upon worked historical evidence.
How many are still working as aristocrats as they did in the stincy days of old? How many stepped in their rat feces and forgot to take off their shoes before entering the welcome mat of Hive?
If Patrick Henry were still alive and knew about hive, would he still smell a rat just as he did when he read the CONstitution?

Also sorry for not replying earlier but will get to it eventually. You left some things that made my brain think. ouch. Thinking is hard work and make my brain hurt. damn these migraines lol.
Recently I have been busy on cleaning up my backyard till the raining started and has not ceased. My medical cannabis is growing strong despite the cosmos trying to drown it. There just babies still.
And yes people, cannabis helps wonders with migraines. i recommend you reconsider using artificial medicine that only aims to destroying your body more and research into the medical uses of cannabis. It practically cures everything. Which is why it was banned from military personnel to use it because it made them pacifists. That is bad for business in the war industry.
Anyways thanks again for tuning in. I will keep working on my Lazy Worm Posts, have multiple drafts ready to go. And my consumption of RC for this post did not help that endeavor but oh well lol.
