One of my hobbies is finding free online tools for all sorts of things. I have huge list of bookmarks with all kind of free web2 tools for design, gaming, editing and what not. Mostly useful stuff and some just for fun.

GlowTEXT is easy to use free online text glow effects generator.
Let's make things clear here. Some online tools allows you to use their service and create products for personal use, but I specially love those who give you commercial rights. I always make sure to check on the website and find information about usage terms. So here it is, quote from GlowTxt website:
Yes Glowtxt is free to use. We cover some of the costs by having a small number of unobtrusive ads on the page.
You can use the text created for any purpose, both commercial and non-commercial.
One note before you jump in. This terms exist in time of writing this post, however everything change so if you use this service in the future, you should check for yourself if those terms still hold.
They also state that they are using only fonts available for both commercial and non-commercial usage but you should also check for yourself when using specific font.
You see HIVEBORGMINER gif above? Not bad for free service.
There are 2 options for final product, PNG image if you don't use animation and GIF if you do use animation.
First options you have is to choose text size between tiny, mini, small, medium, large, XL and XXL. Hiveborgminer example above is large size text.
Next is Glow effect: none will produce PNG file, outline and super will give you GIF file.
Among animation effects you can choose none, pulse and sweep. You can also choose background color if you want.
I think Glowtxt has around 100 free fonts to choose from. Here are some examples.

There is support for other languages. You can choose from Arabic, Armenian, Bengali, Chinese, Cyrillic, Ethiopic, Georgian, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi / Devanagari, Icelandic, Igbo, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Vietnamese, Yoruba. Really long list.
So how can you use this. Well off course blog and social media graphics is first thing I think of. As part of the design. Maybe for low content books and products. Why not try to utilize this and offer GIF creation service on Fiverr or any other freelancing platform. There is really no limits here.
