First of all I need to confess something. This is the hardest word that @calumam has chosen to date for me. I didn't know what to write... I mean, knowing I knew, but it wasn't my style, it wasn't the way I wanted it. Until then I got it :)
I didn't want to write what was outrageous just in the sense that it corresponds to people insulting, attacking other people and hurting their dignity.
Outrageous is such a beautiful word, it carries a power just to read it (at least in my language, which is Portuguese). And in my mind I couldn't adapt it to situations only of bad things, especially when I went to research better to understand the meanings I could use. I was sad with all the examples.
The only thing going through my head was something extravagant, way beyond the norm, but in a nice way, not a bad one.
So, I started looking for the origin of the word and found out that it comes from the Archaic French outrage which means "exceeding the limits" and presto, that's what I needed. My mind turned on and flashed!

This reminded me of a text I wrote 2 years ago that I'm going to share now:
When you try a little harder
When you dedicate yourself a little more
you can exceed your limit
You see that you can go much further.
However, a limit is always a limit.
If there is, it is for a reason.
And overcoming is not always attractive.
It's not nice to go overboard in a discussion.
Raising your voice or handling the situation in an exaggerated manner.
It's not nice to go overboard with your health. Your body is not always ready for this. And its consequences can be dire.
Going over the speed limit and beyond is not the best idea.
Exceeding the limit in any situation requires caution. The limit is a warning. Danger. After that nothing is explored. That's why it's a limit. When the tension goes beyond the limit, it can compromise the rest of your life/future.
Let's not go overboard and insist when you don't know why!
Crossing the boundary can be a one-way street. So only go overboard when you're supposed to be better at something. That improve your life, in a pleasant and happy way. Exceed your learning limit. The pursuit of knowledge, and what you do best. If it's right then you can.
Exceeding the limit. A little reflection from a guy who has gone over the edge today. But there's no better way...
Exceeding the limits is only good when it will be beneficial and will not harm others. Many are crossing the line and making mistakes, putting the lives of other people in danger, their own health, their family among many other cases. And everything could be avoided with a little common sense, common sense helps you not to cross the limits, makes you think, makes you reflect.
And when you are going to be an Outrageous person, so be it in a good way [Which was the meaning I saw in the word], that person who has surpassed his limits of learning, of experience, of evolution. Or that you simply decided to dress in a very extravagant way for a party :P (Now you understand the meaning of the first photo of the post)

Antes de tudo eu preciso confessar uma coisa. Essa é a palavra mais difícil que o @calumam escolheu até hoje para mim. Eu não sabia o que escrever... Quer dizer, saber eu sabia, mas não era ao meu estilo, não era da forma como eu gostaria. Até que então eu consegui :)
Eu não queria escrever o que era algo ultrajante apenas no sentido do que isso corresponde a pessoas que insultam, atacam outras pessoas e ferem a dignidade delas.
Ultrajante é uma palavra tão bonita, carrega uma força apenas de ler ela (ao menos na minha língua que é português). E na minha mente eu não conseguia adequar ela a situações somente de coisas ruins, principalmente quando eu fui pesquisar melhor para entender os significados que eu poderia usar. Fiquei triste com todos os exemplos.
A única coisa que passava na minha cabeça era algo extravagante, muito mais além do normal, mas de forma legal e não ruim.
Então, comecei a buscar a origem da palavra e descobri que ela tem origem do Francês Arcaico outrage que quer dizer "exceder os limites" e pronto, era isso que eu precisava. Minha mente ligou e brilhou!

Isso lembrou de um texto que eu escrevi 2 anos atrás e que eu vou compartilhar agora:
Quando você se esforça um pouco mais
Quando você se dedica um pouco mais
Você pode superar seu limite
Você enxerga que pode ir muito mais além.
Porém, limite é sempre um limite.
Se existe é por um motivo.
E nem sempre superar é algo atrativo.
Não é legal passar do limite numa discussão.
Ter levantado a voz ou conduzido a situação numa maneira exagerada.
Não é legal passar do limite com sua saúde. Nem sempre seu corpo está pronto para isso. E suas consequências podem ser terríveis.
Passar do limite de velocidade e muito mais além, não é a melhor ideia.
Passar do limite em qualquer situação requer cuidado. O limite é um aviso. Perigo. Após disso nada é explorado. Por isso é um limite. No momento de tensão passar do limite pode comprometer o resto de sua vida/futuro.
Não vamos passar do limite e teimar quando não conhece o porquê!
Atravessar o limite pode ser um caminho sem volta. Então só passe do limite quando é pra ser melhor em alguma coisa. Que melhore sua vida, de maneira agradável e feliz. Supere seu limite do aprendizado. Da busca do conhecimento, e no que você faz do melhor. Se for certo então pode.
Passar do limite. Uma pequena reflexão de um cara que hoje passou do limite. Mas não dá melhor maneira...
Exceder os limites só é bom quando aquilo será benéfico e que não irá prejudicar outras pessoas. Muitos, estão passando o limite e cometendo erros, colocando a vida de outras pessoas em perigo, a sua própria saúde, de sua família entre muitos outros casos. E tudo poderia ser evitado com um pouco de bom senso, o bom senso ajuda a você não passar dos limites, faz você pensar, faz você refletir.
E quando você for ser uma pessoa Ultrajante, então que seja de forma boa [Que era o significado que eu via na palavra], aquela pessoa que superou seus limites de aprendizado, de experiência, de evolução. Ou que simplesmente resolveu se vestir de uma maneira bem extravagante para uma festa :P (Agora você entendeu o sentido da primeira foto do post)
