After all the recent drama on proof of brain about down voting and muting, I had a simple question for the community, Can't we all just get along?
It is so easy to judge and hold grudges, point fingers and claim to be an authority on something, it is such harder and more time consuming to offer advice or extend a helping hand.
Once we start taking sneaky shots at each other we do the entire hive ecosystem a disservice,
Yes #pob becomes immediately affected, but that doesn't instill confidence to go to another tribe and start again and will more than likely see the entire ecosystem and it's respective tokens suffer.
I have many issues but I keep them to myself, they are my issue's and I will not project them onto others, but it would be great to see some meaningful dialogue to resolve the issue's.
We hear so much about meaningful engagement but I am starting to seriously doubt that most saying it are actually practicing what they preach.
Like it only counts when I say it and others do it. but I'm not going to get into that when what we need is to stop worrying about what others are doing and just do our own thing.
Just as an example I noticed a specific account down voted a recent post first by -100 % only to come back minutes later and down voted the exact same post by -99%.
I have down voted myself in the past without truly understanding it.
The funny thing is that the post had very little value and was about creating engagement, a positive post for the community, I was confused as to why somebody would do that, had I posted something previously that somebody still held a grudge over.
Its certainly possible, but a post about improving community engagement probably wasn't the right post to take it out on. honestly I don't know what was going on in this person's mind,
A short story long, I didn't take offensive, but I did screen shot and put it away so it cannot be denied if it was to continue for no apparent reason, especially not on community engagement or improvement posts and just got on with my day, I didn't bring it up, didn't make a fuss and didn't let my ego get in the way.
So again I ask the simple question. Can't we all just get along?
Figthing and bickering destroys communities and those with most to lose suffer the most, these #Hive communities have so much growth potential lets not dismantle it before it truly begins.
Lets put the POB community first and lets get along.
