Today, here is what I did to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. On this post I’ll just assume every one knows how to make Salad and I’ll just focus on the Nigerian fried Rice
This morning was cool and everybody had to get dressed for church on time but there was a problem WHAT TO EAT FOR BREAKFAST.
My wife was feeling too lazy to get cooking and I felt it’s not my duty after all, since nobody wanted to cook, we set up a democratic voting pull among the family.
I have 3 kids and they where supposed to vote who was to cook this morning, the vote began and all the three cast their vote đź—ł for me. What! O my God I shouted and I had no choice other than to go make the family a delicious dish so after pondering for a while, I concluded on cooking FRIED RICE and VEGETABLE SALAD.
Here are the recipes and cooking procedures.
2 cups in length grain white rice
2 huge green peppers
1 little cabbage
2 cups chicken stock
½ cup green beans
4 enormous chicken thighs (or other meat of decision)
4 enormous carrots
1 huge onion
½ tbsp. white pepper
3 cooking spoons groundnut oil
1 tsp. curry powder
Preparing and salt to taste
Technique:
Wash and zest the chicken pieces. Bubble until delicate, then, at that point fry or barbecue them.
Slash the carrot, cabbage, green pepper and green beans.
Parboil the rice, then, at that point cook in the chicken stock (add 2 additional cups of water). Cook until practically delicate, then, at that point put away.
Put a spotless skillet ablaze. Add groundnut oil and onion to the skillet. Mix briefly then add the carrot and green beans. Mix for one more moment.
Add the cabbage, green pepper, white pepper, curry, preparing and salt to taste (attempt to keep it a bit hot). Sautéed food for 2 minutes.
Include the rice along with everything else, mix and stew for 5 minutes. Present with the chicken.
After cooking, the family loved it and I felt more like a proud dad when my kids said “dad cooks better than mom”
