You cannot buy an exoplanet as some claim, that has no scientific or legal validity, naming one is also very difficult, you must have discovered it and also go through the approval of the international astronomical union, but now the astronomical union international opens a new possibility for the whole world to propose names for 20 exoplanetary systems that will also be studied in detail by the james webb space telescope.

It is not the first contest of this type, the previous ones were in 2015 and 2019 and more than 780 thousand people participated; and you will wonder how to participate this year, because first they ask to create a team that brings together either enthusiastic students and teachers of astronomy or amateur astronomers and professional astronomers.

Second; carry out an astronomical outreach event related to exoplanets, it can be an exhibition on exo planets, a talk on astronomy topics, etc.

Third; choose a system from the 20 in the list, I show you the image above.

Fourth; logically propose a name for the exo planet, in their language and providing a context, either a name of a god, or a name linked to a cultural activity and an explanation of why that name.
