I am finally very close to reaching my goal of 1000 POB Power. To be more exact, less than 5 POB away from it. And, as I said in my Saturday reflections, that when I reached 1000 POB Power I was going to start a contest, I'm going to go ahead and start it right now.
And I have named this contest "Just Writee".
I know, the name is not original at all but, first I am very bad at naming things and I go for the easiest and most obvious as in this case, and this brings me to the second point of why this contest has that name.
To participate in the contest you have to literally just write, nothing more and nothing less.
Yes, by the simple fact of writing you are already participating in this contest. My idea is to do a little bit of curatorship during this first week and choose authors with posts that I find interesting for some reason and from that list of authors choose three winners through a raffle.
Of course, as always, there are certain requirements that must be met in order to participate in the raffle, which I will list below:
- Only posts that are written through the POB interface will be accepted.
- Only authors with less than 400 POB Power will be selected.
- You can use the #just-write TAG if you prefer, but it is not mandatory.
The topic is of course free. You can write about whatever you want. There are no limits in this regard. And posts will be accepted in two languages, English and Spanish.
What are the prizes?
The prizes will be POB Power delegations for three weeks. **First place will receive a delegation of 100 POB Power, second place will receive a delegation of 75 POB Power and third place will receive a delegation of 50 POB Power.
My idea is to do this contest twice a month so we can have six winners every month. For now I don't plan to put a limit on how many times in a row someone can win the contest. I think that if someone is that good at writing and has that much luck in the raffles, he or she will probably also pass the 400 POB Power very soon, which automatically disqualifies him or her from participating in the contest.
And depending on how well I do at writing and increasing my POB Power, I will be able to increase either the number of winners or the amount of POB Power delegated or both.

Estoy finalmente muy cerca de alcanzar mi objetivo de llegar a los 1000 POB Power. Para ser más exacto, a menos de 5 POB de lograrlo. Y como dije en mis reflexiones sabatinas que cuando llegara a los 1000 POB Power iba a comenzar un concurso, me voy a adelantar un poquito y lo voy a empezar ya mismo. A este concurso le he puesto por nombre "Solo Escribe".
Yo se, el nombre no es para nada original pero es que, primero yo soy muy malo para poner nombres a cosas y me voy por lo más fácil y evidente como en este caso, y esto me lleva al segundo punto de porque este concurso tiene ese nombre.
Para participar en el concurso hay que literalmente solo escribir, nada más y nada menos.
Pues sí, por el simple hecho de escribir ya se participa en este concurso. Mi idea es hacer un poco de curaduría durante esta primera semana y elegir autores con posts que me parezcan interesantes por algún motivo y entre esa lista de autores elegir tres ganadores a través de una rifa.
Por supuesto, como siempre pasa, hay ciertos requisitos que hay que cumplir para poder participar en la rifa y que voy a enumerar a continuación:
- Sólo se aceptarán los posts que se escriban a través de la interfaz de POB.
- Sólo se seleccionarán los autores que tengan menos de 400 POB Power.
- Pueden usar el TAG #just-write si así lo prefieren pero no es obligatorio.
El tema por supuesto es libre. Se puede escribir sobre lo que uno quiera. No hay limites en este sentido. Y se aceptarán posts en dos idiomas, Ingles y Español.
Los premios cuales son?
Pues los premios será delegaciones de POB Power por tres semanas. Al primer lugar se le delegarán 100 POB Power, el segundo lugar recibirá una delegación de 75 POB Power y para el tercer lugar la delegación será de 50 POB Power.
Mi idea es hacer este concurso dos veces al mes para así poder tener seis ganadores todos los meses. Por ahora no pienso poner un límite en las veces seguidas que alguien puede ganar el concurso. Creo que si alguien es tan bueno escribiendo y tiene tanta suerte en las rifas, seguramente también pasará muy pronto la suma de los 400 POB Power, lo que lo descalifica automáticamente para participar en el concurso.
Y dependiendo de lo bien que me vaya a mi escribiendo y aumentando mi POB Power podré ir aumentando, o bien la cantidad de ganadores, o la cantidad de POB Power delegado o las dos cosas.
