Today is finally coming to an end and I want to wrap it up on a very good note. I'm writing this because I feel that a recount of some steps I took this lazy Monday would be a good way to end this day.
Hopefully, it will turn out to be a good choice by the time I put the final full stop.
You do recall that every Monday is already declared sit-at-home in the Southeastern part of Nigeria. It started two weeks ago and you can refresh your mind about the 'why' in this post. Every action and inaction since then till this day shows that it will continue till... God (only) knows when!
No big deal about that. Knowing people in this part of the world and their workaholic spirit, an extreme violation of human right needs to be done once in a while to force their arse into a resting posture. Ouch... that's harsh! Okay, just kidding. The point is, I don't want to worry about politics. It's a waste of time.
Read along while I show you that stuff that kept me glued to the physical world.
Truth be told, I thought I will use this day to tie up loose ends on some of the workloads I have online. #Cometweek challenge is one of those things I had on my to-do list, but I couldn't do much in that area.
My internet connectivity has been acting up since 28 hours ago so, I couldn't do heavy data consuming stuff. I was rather left with all those other Social Media platforms. You know, the ones you visit to type 'Hi' and send voicemail and do video calls without making any money in return. Lol. And it's funny to see people spending 24/7 on these other apps, ranting about how unemployed they are and so on. Well, I was able to have a good one with the LOML so, no qualms.
Bad internet connection? No problem! I got to do good work offline.
The stuff that kept me focused offline is the work I did for Mumcy
She got some materials from a school she works with on a contract basis.
She never delays such contract work so, she started last week to do her job on these.
Cutting the materials based on the measurements she has is probably the hardest part of the job. Such an artistic work! As for the proper usage of her sewing machine, that beats me! Long story short, she was able to sew more than 40 pieces of this uniformed dress.
Ironing them is something I had to take up without being asked and I did just that. Yeah, Kene is a good son. Haha. I did a good number of that two days ago but when we waited till this day without any power supply, I had to improvise. Thank goodness, I've successfully ironed and packaged all the already made uniforms, I can be more focused on other stuff within the next few days.
Well, it's a lazy Monday for a lot of reasons. Those that had a physical job couldn't do their stuff because of the sit-at-home. I wasn't one of them, but a bad internet connection kept me inactive until recently.
Hopefully, tomorrow will be a lot different. I don't wanna feel less productive anymore. Haha.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma
