A quick change in my life should be followed by a quick mindset. In this situation, everything is uncertain. I am not sure if I will get a job again or not. After I was laid off in July 2021, I should survive and grow. Before I do a lot of things, I should change the master plan in my mind. I should change my mindset and perception of success.
When I was a teacher, success was an achievement where I was able to help my students achieve their goals in learning and studying. Watching them grow would make me happy. I did not expect any money in return. The money comes from somewhere else. Now, the situation makes me change my mind about success.

I am a self-employed man.

Today, I am a self employed man. My works are hive blogging and doing a small business. During the day, I sell my products. At night, I write articles for hive blogging. Both activities give me many opportunities to be successful. That is why I should change my perception of success. These are the success indicators that I should achieve today.

Hive blogging success indicators

• The rise of power
  Power is one of the success indicators that I should achieve. I should increase the power gradually. My main focus is POB. I always power up my rewards. Though, I spend a few percent of the rewards, I have increased POB power significantly in the last 2 months. On the other hand, my hive power grows gradually from the reward. I hope in the next two months , my hive power will be 600 or 700. My POB power is 1293 POB. My plan at the end of August will be 1500 POB power or higher.
• I can write better articles.
  I always learn how to write better articles. I read posts about how to increase the value of the content that I write. I also learn about grammar. I hope my grammar will be better. It is not easy to practice grammar in writing because I am a non English speaker.
• I have more friends in hive
  All my followers are my friends. I should also follow them back. I do not care if the friends have high power or not. A friend is a friend. It does not matter with the power.
• I have a stable income from hive.
  My hive income is for monthly spending. I need to pay for internet data, my children's school tuition, a house, and other monthly expenses. That is why one of the indicators of success is stable income from hive.

Success indicators of my offline business

• I can pay for daily expenses
  I can feed my family. I can afford to buy good food for my family. I know the covid drama situation is not conducive, but the daily needs can not be suspended. I always go out at 10 AM and go home at 6 AM. I am fortunate that my efforts give me sweet expectations. I can feed my family from my offline business.
• I want to rent a small space for a food counter.
  This is a mid term goal. I should think about renting a small space to sell my food products. My current products are mambo ice. With a counter, I can do product diversification.
• I can give daily pocket money to my kids.
  Though the pocket money is not big, my kids are happy with the small amount of money. I train them to save some of the money. I let my kids buy some snacks on their own. Kids like to eat snacks. I am happy when I see them happy.

Those are the success indicators after I changed my perception of success. I should continue to learn how to be a successful business man and a blogger.
